2025 Lexus NX 450h Plug In Hybrid Range Test | Missing the Mark?
In this video we test the electric only range on the 2025 Lexus NX 450h Plug In Hybrid. The NX 450h is a carryover PHEV model and uses the same powertrain as the larger RX, which I have already tested on the channel. The vehicle is powered by an 18.1 kWh battery and three electric motors. The total electric system output is roughly 179hp and 199lb-ft of torque. The EPA rating is 37 miles of range however during my test, it came up just short. Given the higher speeds, it might be possible to get more range at steady, lower speeds.
