2025 JAECOO J7 Plugin Hybrid ACCESSORIES YOU NEED !!!
If you are looking at getting a Ju or you have just purchased one and you’re waiting for it to come or you’ve just got one sitting on your driveway, then I’ve got some accessories for the J7 that either you need to buy before you’ve got it or it’s something you should be looking at buying right now. And yeah, so they’ve got the J7 and they got the J5 on there with the J8 coming out in around March next year. Wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve got the J8 accessories as well. But yeah, before I even bought my JQ, these are things say I was looking at personally. Um, and it just happens that I reached out to them and they said yes, they wanted to send me some some send me some stuff. So, let’s dive straight into it. Again, if you’ve not got your JQ, then this may be a little surprise to you, but the key fob is just a key fob. When I say that, there is no key loop, there’s no key ring, there’s nothing. It is just a singular uh blob, which you’re going to have to buy a key ring for. Now, my JQ have got several different options and then they’ve got different colors within those different options as well, depending on what it is you want. Uh, I’ve picked up a couple of different ones. So, for the first key ring I picked up is this lovely kind of uh gunmetal gray case with the green inner. And then it comes with some extra bits where you can obviously attach your keys onto it. It does add a little bit of weight to the keys, but it’s a solid build. It looks really nice and I love the kind of uh textured feel to the outer sides. But like I said, they’ve got different patterns and different colors. Uh so depending what what you want, I’ve got this one as well, which I will be installing onto my other set of keys. I can’t believe that Jake have given a key that you can’t attach any other keys to it. So, but yeah, it is a must when it comes to getting your keys. Super easy to install. There are just four screws on the corners. take them out, take it apart, put the pieces together, screw back on, and that’s it. Then you can attach your house keys to your keys, and you’re away. But if you do want a kind of simple, more sty, then you’ve got this kind of black and silver um case. It’s a bit more of a rubber feel, whereas obviously these are kind of metal and a lot more durable to being dropped and stuff. But yeah, if you want a kind of lighter, more minimalist look, then you do have this option as well. A couple of extra bits I have grabbed. One of them is this little brush so I can get into the nooks and the crannies and kind of keep on top of cleaning the car and just maintaining it. And it comes with a lovely little case. You just pop it open, place it in, and there you go. Just keep that in the glove box and you’re away. I also grabbed myself a microfiber cleaning cloth because with the massive 14.8 8 in screen plus the driver screen. Trust me when I say you get a lot of fingerprints all over it cuz everything is controlled through the infotainment center piece. So yeah, having a dedicated screen cloth in the car again fortunately it is needed but a lovely feel and little JQU on it as well. But that brings us nicely onto again another accessory that is definitely required, tempered glass. Now, this pack is going to cover you for both the large infotainment screen and the smaller driver screen. Comes with some cleaning kits to help you make sure there’s no dust or anything on the screen before you then go and apply it. And yeah, obviously a huge piece of tempered glass. And then you do get your kind of like squidgy um card just to make sure all the bubbles are off. These are scratch and wear resistant. And more importantly, these are anti-fingerprints. They must have some form of like special coating just to kind of stop the oils from the fingers transferring onto the screen. And yeah, my screen at the minute is absolutely goppin. So this is going to be installed straight away. But we’ll get round to installing this in a little bit. And the last thing then is going to be the center armrest column organizer. It’s a big bin, but things just get shoved in there. And uh with the front part where the phone goes or underneath it. Again, there’s no dividers, there’s no sections like uh the keys or the coins, anything kind of just gets thrown in. It just bounces around. So, that’s why I picked myself up one of these. Um and I got this one. And it’s got the nice rubber inserts as well. So, this is then going to go in the center column where your arm goes. And yeah, all my coins are going to be able to go into the same spot and not be thrown around. One thing I do wish with this is these rubber inserts. They’re not secured in place. Um, and they just fall out. So, obviously, it’s not a problem. Once it’s in, it’s in. But, I would like it to see either where this was such a tight fit, it’s a little bit hard to get out. or maybe a 3M uh strips on the bottom just to securely put it in place so later on when I’m cleaning it out or I’m grabbing things from it, I don’t accidentally grab uh the rubber insert and pull that out as well. Well, that’s all the pieces that I’ve got from my JQU. So, let’s go and install them. So, these one we’re going to install straight away then is the center armrest. And now, I don’t know if you can see, but there’s just a lip on either side. And so when you put it in the armrest, it’s literally just going to uh catch on to the the top and just rest inside. So you still get all the space underneath. You don’t lose that. You just gain some extra nice little cubby bits. And that’s it. Like you can literally just put it in and put it out. So you can still get underneath. Uh and then yeah, from there you can keep your little bits nicely organized. And of course the lid shuts and opens. Absolutely no dramas. Now the next thing we’re going to do is install these screen protectors. I’m do the big one first. Obviously use our lovely new microfiber cloth just to give a good clean. Get rid of all the original fingerprints cuz there are absolutely loads. I’ve turned the screen off. I turn the car off so I’m not going to start pressing buttons whilst I’m doing this. Hope you get your little squidgy board. Well, there we go. That is it installed. Screen still works exactly how we want it to. Now, it’s just on to the next one. And again, really, really easy to install. If you do get any slight air bubbles in it whilst you are laying it, you can just lift it back up, let the air out, and then squid it back.
