Real-World Range of Kia EV3!
Okay, so this is the new Kia EV3 that I’ve just fully charged to 100%. Let’s see what the claim range is and uh the actual range that we will get over the next 2 days of driving. I have 323 mi of uh range left at 100% charge which is uh roughly 520 km. So let’s see what range we actually get once we are done driving. 241 mi later, we are at 21% charge. Uh I have 65 mi of range left. And to calculate the real world efficiency, rather the real world range of this car, I’ll have to multiply the energy consumption which is at 3.8 right now with the battery size of this car which is 81.4 kWh. And to do that, I’ll take some help from this car itself. How much is 3.8 multiplied by 81.4? 3.8 8 * 81.4 is 309.32. How much is uh 309 mi uh in kilm? 309 mi is 497.29 km. So there you go. That’s nearly 500 km of real world range that you can expect with the Kia EV3.
