Best EV Lease Deals Under $299/Month Right Now (One is $169!)
You can lease a brand new EV for $169 a month right now, but it’s not the one you think. This is Carson and Mike from EMC, and we found five EV lease deals under $299 a month this December that you don’t want to miss out on. Plus, some states will let you stack on an additional $15,000 in credits. We’ll show you all of the real costs, not just the advertised ones that dealerships want you to see. Let’s make this a December to remember, just not with Alexis. It’s beginning to look a lot like savings. So, get to your local Lexus dealer today. How much did you spend on this ridiculous car, Nathan? It was only $39.99 to its signing. 4 grand. It’s not that much, babe. And how much is the monthly payment? The what? So, before I jump into the deal that you guys have all been waiting for, I just wanted to quickly mention that I’m like you guys. I would never consider a lease because I think it’s just wasting money. But most of the cars on these lists actually if you lease them and then do a lease buyout at the end, it ends up being cheaper than just paying cash for them outright. So now going into the deal, for $169 a month, you can lease a Kia Nero EV Win Trim. Now, this car doesn’t have the fastest DC fast charging, but it does have 255 miles of range, and you get 10,000 miles a year over 2 years, but it does have a $4,000 down payment. So, a little later in this video, we’re going to talk about some cars that have way more range and give you a couple thousand more miles a year. But before I jump into that, I just wanted to mention the state incentives. Most states will give you around $4,000 to purchase or lease a new EV, and one of the states that we’re going to talk about gives you up to $15,000, which means most of the cars on these list will basically be free. If you need more miles a year and you’re looking for a more premium experience, the Hyundai IonX 6 is where it’s going to get interesting. Starting at $229 a month, you can get the standard trim and that’s going to come with 240 miles of range. But here’s the thing. If you’re willing to spend just an extra $10 a month, that’s the real sweet spot where you can get 342 miles of range, and that’s for the SE rear wheel drive trim. So, for me, I think that’s a no-brainer. Both of these vehicles are going to be third $3,999 down for two years and they’re going to include up to 12,000 miles a year. However, if you’re looking for even more range, we’ve got one on this list that’s going to give you 363 miles. So now, if you’re looking more for an SUV, I mean hatchback, um the with the same types of terms as the Hyundai IonX 6, you’re going to want to take a look at the Hyundai Ionic 5. For $249 a month, you’re going to get 245 miles of range. And if you’re willing to spend an extra $10 a month, you’re going to bump that up to 318 miles in range for the SE rear wheel drive trim. Now, this has the same exact types of terms. It’s about 4K cash down for 2 years and 12,000 miles per year. But if you’re looking for one of these EVs that’s going to even have a longer lease term, check out this next one. So, what do you think is the best looking, Mike? I mean, I think the by far the best looking is oh. So, if you’re looking for a car with a longer lease term, then the BZ might be for you. Now, this is the new redesigned BZ. They had to rename it because no one could remember the name, but it fixed a lot of the features that were missing from the BZ4X. This is the XLE frontwheel drive trim, so it comes with 314 mi of range. It has a 4K down payment and you get 10,000 m a year. Now, I don’t really know how that works with those extra 3 months, but I guess if you guys lease it, you’ll have to find out and you guys can report back to me. If you like Subarus, this one’s secretly a Subaru, too. And this one’s going to cost $279 per month. Yes. So, the next one that we’re going to get into has the best range. And if you’re looking for the lowest down payment, that one’s going to be for you. And at the top of our under $299 a month list is going to be the Tesla Model 3 Premium Rearwheel drive. That one is going to be $1,500 in a down payment and that lease term is going to be 36 months and that is going to include 10,000 m a month. Now, this is ideal if you want to go the longest range, which is going to be 363 mi of range and also you want access and seamless charging on Tesla’s Supercharger network. So, yes, it is $299 a month, the top of our list. However, that is before state tax credits. Speaking of which, let’s talk about that $15,000 in credits that you mentioned at the beginning of the video. So, finally, it’s time for the $15,000 incentive that I’ve been hinting at this entire video. Now, the state that’s going to give you that is Colorado. And the coolest program that I think they have is their vehicle exchange program. They’ll give you up to $9,000 if you lease a new EV and you trade in a qualifying vehicle. Now, they do have other programs that you can stack on top of that. So, for leasing a new EV, they’ll give you $3,500, but you guys got to be careful because that drops to $750 on January 1st. And then that’s for vehicles under $80,000. Now, if you have a vehicle under $35,000, you’ll get that credit and you’ll also get an additional $2500. So, in total, that comes to $15,000. And that makes pretty much all the EVs on this list around $50 a month with the Kia Nero qualifying for all three being free. Maine is also going to offer really generous credits between $4 to $8,000 depending on your income eligibility. But there’s also an important thing to note is that you must install off peak charging before you get these credits. And you also must be pre-qualified before you even buy the car. Also, Connecticut is going to offer up to $4,000 in credits, which is going to include $1,000 in base credits for the EVs under 50K and an additional $3,000 in credits for other qualifying individuals. These are also going to be point of sale up in Connecticut. Yes. So now there are other states that offer credits like New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, New Mexico, and we’re going to have a full list of those states and what you have to do to get the best deals on our website. So if you want to check it out, we’ll have that linked in the description. Okay, so I know we just threw out a bunch of numbers for you guys. So I wanted to show you the tool I built. So, basically, you just go on our website, you can put in the state, and then it’ll tell you if you have tax credits available in your state. So, for Alabama, there’s no tax credits. But let’s see. If we go to Maine, you can get up to $8,000 in credits. And if you scroll down, it’ll show you the requirement details for each credit that you might be eligible for. And then the federal EV tax credit is gone. And then we have some more things coming soon. So that’s what I’m working on next. It looks a little like this. You put in your state, miles driven, your miles per gallon, and it’ll let you know your gas cost, your electric cost, and savings. Now, let’s get into our rankings. What do you think is the best value, Mike? The best overall value has got to be the Tesla Model 3 premium rear wheel drive. At $299 a month, you’re going to get the most miles of range, that 363 mi of range, and you’re going to have to put the least amount of money down at only $1,500. All right, Carson. So, I know you’re pretty opinionated when it comes to looks. What do you think is the best looking of these EVs in terms of lease deals? So, I honestly think the Ionic 5 is the best looking, but value per dollar, I think it’s going to have to go to the IonX 6. you get the most range out of that lineup and it’s also you get the most money off MSRP if you want to buy it outright at the end of your lease. And then of course the best overall price with credits is got to be the Kia Nero EV which is essentially free to drive if you’re in the state of Colorado. So, just a quick disclaimer, these prices are for December 2025, and they’re always changing. And these prices also vary by region, credit score, and dealer inventory. So, just check with your local dealer to see if they even have these deals. So, what do you think of these EV lease deals? Would you actually consider leasing one of them? And if you would, what’s the best lease deal for your situation? Drop us a comment below. And until next time, God bless.
