Kenya’s First Electric Motorcycle to hit127,000 km
One of the earliest Roam Air motorcycles just hit a record 127,000 km, one of the first ever electric motorcycles in Africa to reach this milestone.
Ridden daily in Nairobi by Samuel Gichuru since November 2022, it has endured traffic, rough roads, and long shifts with the original motor, batteries, frame, and lights still intact—only minor cosmetic upgrades.
Samuel has also fully repaid his M-KOPA loan and now saves up to 80% compared to his old petrol motorcycle, proving that the Roam Air delivers unmatched durability and a life-changing economic impact.
