Two teenagers were arrested and taken into custody at their high school for recklessly riding their electric motorcycles and running away from police in Beverly Hills last year, police said

The two minors rode their electric motorcycle through the city of Beverly Hills and performed dangerous stunts, the Beverly Hills Police Department (BHPD) said in a statement.

Police warned the recklessly riding of electric motorcycles could create dangerous situations for pedestrians and other motorists.

When officers tried to stop them on Dec. 10, 2025, they ran away. But after investigating for four months, police were able to identify them and arrested them at Culver City High School Thursday with support from the Culver City Police Department, Beverly Hills police said.

“BHPD reminds the community that electric motorcycles, while increasingly popular, can pose significant safety
risks when operated irresponsibly,” police said.

Riders were urged to operate these vehicles with caution, wear appropriate safety gear, and strictly obey all traffic regulations.
