COMPLETE TOUR — NEW BIKES — EVERY HALL — Motorcycle Live 2025

[Music] Hi guys, welcome back to the channel. If you’re new here, a very warm welcome to you too. This is your complete guide for Motorcycle Live 2025. And I’ve been given exclusive access to the show before the doors open to show you around all the new bikes that are on display. We’re going to do all of the halls and we’re going to cover all of those major announcements. So, let’s get into it. We’re straight into hall number two. So, our first stop then is Bimota and they’re just on the right hand side as you come into hall two and they have got five bikes on display. We start with the KB998 Ramini. Right next to it is the Tessi H2 Terror. We’ve also got the KB4. Now there is another K998 Rini on the stand. This one is Alex Lowers, the world superbike champion. But next to it, take a look at this. It’s a Bimota VG500. This one was conceived as a roadgoing GP racer. It’s that slice of Italian motorcycle heritage. And it’s the only model to ever feature a Botto engine. definitely going to go down in history as one of a kind. Beautiful stand. Really, really lovely to see them. Next up, then we’ve got the Bonnie T120. New for 2026. It’s the next chapter in that story that never stands still. And have a look at this. They’ve got this lovely black edition as well. Now, it stays true to the spirit of the original. It retains that unmistakable Bonnie silhouette, but just look at the finish on them. Take a look at this black edition. Isn’t it beautiful? Well worth going around to have a look at that. Next up to it then we’ve got the Bonavville Scrambler 1200 XC. This is also new for 2026. It’s that authentic Scrambler attitude, isn’t it? That lovely commanding presence and those big long forks on the front. The 1200 XE has a dedicated scrambler chassis. It’s got those long travel suspension and true allterrain hardware according to Triumph. I think it looks great. If you’re heading to the show, definitely make sure you go and have a sit on that. If you prefer something a little bit lower down, check out this. The Bonavville bobber. Also new for 2026. It’s that striking evolution of the iconic strict back custom classic. Low slung, muscular proportions, crafted details. It’s got everything, hasn’t it? Just look at the presence of it. I absolutely adore this. For me, if I was going to have one of them, it would be that. But it’s also worth taking a look at the Bonavville Scrambler 400 XC as well. So, you saw the 1200 XC earlier. This is the 400 XC. Triumph launched the new Scrambler 400X expanding the claim 400cc modern classic lineup. The new Scrambler XC Triumph claim delivers category leading performance. It definitely has got that unmistakable Scrambler design and lovely premium finishes on there. It’s also got a new higher specification that Triumph say is infused with genuine adventure capability, whatever that means. Now, on the Harley-Davidson stand, it’s worth stopping at the Harley-Davidson stand because they have bought the new Bagger World Cup bikes. Have a look at this. So, this has only just been announced. Harley-Davidson announced this down in Italy earlier this month and it’s a new world series, the Bagger World Cup and it’s coming to the UK as well. They’re going to be racing at Silverstone. And don’t think that this is any kind of slouch or something slow. Now, they might weigh 280 kg, but they produce more than 200 horsepower and will go 186 m an hour on track. It’s absolutely bonkers. They’ve also got the rogue going version of it. But the thing I love most is they brought this race in with them. So you can take the bagger around Silverstone and get a taste for it. Can’t wait to see how this series pans out. Absolutely loved seeing the race bike. Great great stand this year. Harley now tucks behind Harley-Davidson. And this is a brand new feature for the show this year. If anything, it’s a bit of a shame that it’s tucked so far away, but it is the heritage zone. And this has been presented by the National Motorcycle Museum celebrating the 80th anniversary of the E day. And as you can see, they’ve got some fantastic bikes from yesterday year on display. They’ve got this 1940 Veliceti. They’ve got a 1941 Triumph 1942 BSA. This 1939 Norton Big 4. It’s a military outfit Warhorse. Check this out. And it’s got two wheel drive as well. So, you can see the drive shaft runs underneath the back of the side car there with all the artillery on top of it. What an amazing machine. And what really boggled my mind is you were allowed to sit on this. What a fantastic experience to actually be able to sit on one of these and have, you know, a sense of what all those people from yesterday would have gone through. There was also a 1940 Matchless G3WO, a 1940 Aerial WNG, a 1942 Norton 16H. By the way, Norton stand coming onto it in a minute. Incredible. This year, there was a 1987 Armstrong MT500. I’ve had a go on the Harley MT. Now, that is a fantastic bike even to this day. There’s a 1965 Triumph T110 and a 67 BSA B40WD and a 42 Royal Enfield WDRE as well. But this is this for me. This is the crowning glory. 1914 to 1918 Sllino machine gun side car 750 V twin. Just take a look at this. More than a 100red years old and you can sit on it. What an amazing experience. It’s well worth going down. Keep going through Halter. Go behind Harley and take a look at that. You will not be disappointed. Talking of experiences, there was this brand new feature as well, which was the superbike sim. Now, you could have a go on any of these Moto GP simulators. There was six different bikes for them to choose from, and it was really, really popular. So, if you want to do it, be prepared for a long wait or potentially look to go towards the end of the day when it gets a bit quieter. Well worth the wait in my mind. The other feature that is really, really popular, as you can see from this huge line of people queuing up, is the learn to ride zone. Now, I get it. A lot of people love motorbikes, but they might not have ever been on one. What a brilliant way of getting into the motorcycling world than by having a go in a nice safe environment at Motorcycle Life. Trust me, there’s nothing like road riding a motorbike. If you’ve not done it, please do go down there and check it out. Absolutely superb. They’ll get you kitted out. Nice safe area. Now, Kawazaki have got a huge stand and no less than eight new bikes and updates. We start with this, the KLE 500, which Kawazaki say is designed to help you discover new horizons. Not sure what that means, but you cannot deny this rally style design. You’re going to deliver performance both on and off-road. Lovely torquy, responsive, parallel twin engine, balanced chassis. I think this could be a fantastic allrounder. Go and have a look at that. Even if some of the marketing bump your passport to endless possibilities is a little bit reaching. There’s also this the new Z650S which again Kazaki is saying commands attention with its wide aggressive stance but whatever. I think this does look great. Lovely proportions on it. Very well packaged. Well worth going down to the stand to have a look at and have a sit on. I have to say that the striking frame there, it really does stand out in my opinion. [Music] There’s also this, the Ninja 125A1 license friendly ninja. Take a look at this. Now, Kawazaki say that this takes the engineering quality from the Ninja Racing DNA. I think it looks great. What a fantastic first step into the Ninja family. Powered by a 15 PS engine, and they it’s tuned for nice, flexible, low to mid-range performance, which is great. What a fantastic first step. Keeping on that 125 theme, then there’s the Z125 as well, which you know, it’s got that Kawazaki design language, the aggressive styling, that lovely trellis frame in there. A1 friendly, again, 15 PS engine, nice responsive performance down mid-range. They say this is lightweight, bold, and built for spirited riding. I certainly think that is going to inspire quite a few to join the motorcycle community. There’s also this. Now, I know this doesn’t look new, but it is. It’s the new W230. Honors the 1965 650W. It’s got that lovely classic styling mixed with modern engineering. 233cc fuel injected four- stroke engine. Nice and lightweight, easy handling, really approachable. What a great way to get into biking. And keeping with that past and future meeting in the middle, check this out. The Z900 RS. This was inspired by the legendary Z1. The 2026 model brings that classic style and modern technology together. It’s got cruise control, smartphone connectivity, IMUbased rider aids, KCMF, KQUS. I have no idea what they are, but it’s all in there, even though it does look like it’s from yesterday year. And so the final stop, it is the Ninja ZX10R with seven World Superbike titles. The new Ninja ZX10R pushes performance even higher according to Kawazaki. Very aggressive air design. You can see that they’ve revised the geometry and they’ve also updated the suspension to improve the front end control. They’ve refined the electronic suite as well to suit both road and track. They’ve added cruise control and a new 5-in TFT display with navigation. So, this really is a bike for the road and the track. Now Norton are making quite a statement. I have to say I can’t remember the last time I saw a stand like this. It looks like something out of the future. The bikes look absolutely exquisite. We start with the Mans R. They say redefined performance and luxury and I have to say it just looks incredible. Handcrafted British design. They say class leading torque, adaptive intelligence liver, a connective responsive ride. This is what Norton are saying. Obviously, I’ve not been out on the bikes yet, but I have to say it looks fantastic. The Mans 2 looks great as well. This brings the spirit of the Mangsar to a street bike with that raw performance and refined engineering. More upright, but look at the back end on that. Doesn’t that that reminds me of the old MP412C McLaren? I have to say the design of these new Nortons is breathtaking. And look at the screen on that. It’s almost like you’ve got a tablet on the display there for you, giving you a great view of everything that’s going on. But that design language is just so striking. So the Atlas GT combines that refined design with true Rogo versatility. So you got that agile frame, lightweight alloy wheels, characterful engine in this stunning, stunning design. There’s the advanced electronics on there. So you’ve got that lovely confident control of the bike. This, they say, is built for commutes all long range distances. The Atlas GT, they say, handles every journey with effortless precision and style. Now, the Atlas blends that rugged capability with the modern design. Again, lightweight chassis as you’ve got with the GT, responsive power plant paired with those electronics, very, very confident on any terrain. So this one’s built more for exploration. Inspires you to go further, say Norton, and embrace every challenge ahead. I think their style in here is very inspirational. I think it looks great. The whole stand looks fantastic. And my final stop then in hall 2 is MV Augusta. And they have bought the new Brutal Audio. I cannot speak Italian, sorry. But take a look at this naked performance. 148 horsepower, 107 new m of torque. But all of that is irrelevant because just look at the style of the bikes on this stand. So we go to BMW Moto. Now BMW have got a ginormous stand. They always have a huge stand and they have got a wealth of bikes for you to have a look around. But of course, everyone’s going to want to see the new F450 GS. Now, they’re saying this turns every journey into an adventure. I have to say, I’ve got a GS1200. I adore my old GS1200, and I think this in a lighter weight setup is going to be fantastic. 48 horsepower, twin cylinder engine, 178 kg. It looks great. I love the sound of it. I think this is going to be one of the bikes to watch. It’s got those elements from the big brother, that 1300 GS. You got sort of that cross emblem in the headlights. Doesn’t it just look exquisite? Make sure you head over to BMW, you check that out. But also their huge arena in the center where they’ve got people doing demonstrations and some stunt riding. Well worth having a look. Now over to Indian and you know the Scout range, but it’s been expanded this year. We’ve got a new one, the Sport Scout RT. It’s got that punchy 1250 V twin engine, 35 L locking saddle bags. It is timeless style, perfect proportions, and that iconic scout flare. What a magnificent machine. I think it looks great. What a way to tour. I mean, it just looks fantastic, don’t you think? And a great addition to the Scout lineup. MCN are here as well. They’ve got a big anniversary this year. It’s their 70th anniversary. And they’re doing bikes of the era. They’ve got this, the Yamaha RD 350. They’ve also got, look at this, Triumph Bonavville T120, 1955 through to 1964. Also a Norton Commando 750 as well. They’ve also got this look BMW S1000RR. This is still relatively new, you know, 2005 through to 2014. They’ve also got, take a look at this, this lovely Yamaha 700. Now, this for me, I get sneaking suspicion that that might be one of the long way round bikes. It certainly looks like it, but I couldn’t see the register confirm it. I reckon it might be. Right next to them, right next to MCM is Langan, and you have to go and have a look at the LS12 light speed. This is limited to 185 customizable builds. It is absolutely exquisite. 185 horsepower from a 190cc V twin. Weighs 185 kg. But all of that is irrelevant because just look at it. The details on this bike are second to none. Look at the details around the speedo. Even on the end of the handlebars there, just absolutely exquisite powertoweight ratio of a,000 brake horsepower per ton. It’s the next evolution for Langon and defines this British craftsmanship in a timeless small batch engineering masterpiece. Beautiful. KTM then and their two big bikes this year. The KTM 9990 RCR uh new at Motorcycle Live Highspec Super Sport delivers that sharp track focus performance with realworld usability. Great ergonomics on there. Loving that really wide display on there as well. It introduces KTM’s next generation super sport platform too with that lovely aggressive styling, strong power delivery. They’re claiming precision handling, too. Definitely worth having a look at that. As is this, the KTM 1390 Super Adventure S Ev EVO. First look at this debuts. KTM’s new automated manual transmission for seamless shifting and advanced control. I don’t know how you feel about that. Let me know in the comments. Lots of mechanical upgrades on this, lots of technology updates as well. It now leads the adventure range. And my oh my, just look at it. Isn’t it so aggressive? That front end more aggressive than ever. Looks great. Next up then is Royal Enfield. And just look at this custom. Celebrating 125 years. This classic 650. They’ve also got a few other beautiful bikes on there. The 650 Twin. Aren’t they just gorgeous? But you have got to look at that. Isn’t that just a masterpiece? I mean to sit it next to something that looks like it’s from yesterday and this looks like something from the future. You have got to go and have a look at this because the camera didn’t pick up half of the details of that. Just look at the carbon fiber weave. It’s absolutely stunning. And I love that off center headlight too. They’ve also got the bare 650 range as well. And if you come with me down here, look at this lovely 350. Doesn’t it just look beautiful? I really think the color coding on that works really well. In the center of the stand, too, they have got a couple of electric bikes. They’re flying flea. Take a look at those. EVs are coming. We know that. And here you can see a brand with huge heritage looking forward. It’s worth going to have a look at them. And now we move on to Suzuki. And the Suzuki stand is going to be unbelievably busy the whole time. Even before the doors opened, it was absolutely swarming because they have bought this, the GSXR 1000R 40th anniversary edition. And just look at it. They’re celebrating 40 years of the Jixer. And this is their new 40th anniversary edition. It’s got new crankshaft, pistons, rods, high compression for sharper performance, updated electronics, new exhaust, carbon winglet. It’s got everything. But not only have they got that really special 40th anniversary, but they’ve also brought along the bikes from when it started all the way back 1985 with the original GSXR 750F from 1985. Just look at that. It looks fantastic. Obviously, you can’t sit on it, but you can stand there and admire it. And I tell you what, doesn’t it look quite boxy compared to the newer models? Also on display, you’ve got them from all eras, including the 1100’s, the SRADs, even the K5, that really revered K5, all the way through to the very latest GSX 1000R. What a fantastic display, Suzuki. You have done your heritage proud with that display. And I really do fancy a jigsaw myself. I was siding towards a K5, but now I’ve seen that 40th anniversary, I might have to pop down to a dealer. What a fantastic display. What a great stand. [Music] Heat. Heat. N. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Also on their stand, they did bring some new bikes with them. So, the GSX S1000GX Plus, try saying that after a few, was launched in early 2024, and it’s already receiving some key updates. Uh, it retains the GSXR derived engine, the semi-active suspension, the advanced electronics, and so on and so forth. But for 2026, there’s new aerodynamic winglets to boost the front end stability and increase downforce. What a lovely looking machine that is. There’s also the SV7GX as well. It’s a return of that legendary V twin. Refined over 25 years. Got the trellis frame, aerodynamic bodywork. It looks fantastic. It’s got different power mode, traction control, quick shifter, TFT connectivity. It’s a very, very complete bike. What I also love to see as well is that Suzuki have bought a few fun things with them as well. They bought some of their race bikes and they’ve also bought one arching right over onto its side. See if you can get on it and have your picture taken. If you do, chuck it on Instagram and tag me. I want to see them. A quick stop then at Can-Am and their big thing this year is this electric quad. Looks quite a cool thing, but everyone was swarming around its big brother which was sat next to it. I couldn’t get near it to get a good shot. Everybody was looking around. It’s like the size of a Range Rover, that thing. How on earth that is qualified as a quad is beyond me. That’s phenomenal. How much fun would that be? And so we move on to Honda and they have got this the WN7. It’s their first fulls size electric motorcycle. They have got one that you can sit on as well, but it’s a very very striking looking thing. It’s got sort of like this boxy central section in there. And Honda say they’ve always built motorcycles that speak to you with style, sound, and soul. So, that’s going to be quite interesting how they’re going to do that. Uh, there’s two power variants, an 18 kW for A2 licenses and an 11 kW for those with an A1 license. It’s got a range of more than 80 mi. It can charge up in 30 minutes. I know electric isn’t for everyone, but unfortunately, it is the way the industry is going. Also, there is this, the XL750 Trans Alp. Now, doesn’t this look like something? Legend of adventure touring packed into class leading power and torque. According to Honda, they’ve upgraded the suspension and chassis to deliver light on-road handling and confident off-road control. But interesting, this one’s got the Honda E clutch and throttle by wire. And if you look at the screen, there’s this central intake which is there to boost aerodynamics and aid wind protection. 5-in TFT display. I think it looks like an interesting looking bike. There’s also the CB-100 GT, which Honda say is the ultimate sport tourer. Quite a claim. Uh, combines that dynamic sport performance with long distance endurance. It’s got the aggressive style. And they are saying this offers unbeatable value for money. Designed for thrillsekers who crave power and travel without compromising on comfort or performance. 1000cc engine. I mean, it’s got everything you need to go touring. And then when it does get twisty, you can have a bit of fun with it. And finally, the CB500 Hornet. Bit of riding buzz, isn’t it? This one. Aggressive Street Fighter style, and it’s loaded with a responsive A2 friendly twin cylinder engine. So, it’s nice and agile, high quality chassis, plus it’s got that e-clutch system as well. Again, let me know what you think. Is it good? Is it bad? What do you prefer? Do you prefer the e-clutch system or the old school way? I’m interested to know. But I think the CB500 Hornet looks like a winner. Now, one of my favorite stands in Hall 3 is Mental Health’s motorbike. I’m here with Paul. Hello, Paul. Good morning. You all right? Yeah, very well, thank you. Good, good, good. Now, I’m really, really proud to support Mental Health Motorbike because you’ve got an amazing, amazing drive. And when I first spoke to you, you wanted to do something like a uh a mental health first a city across the UK. And you’ve now done more than a thousand. Actually, we’re,00 mental health first aid train. Yeah. So, we’re very very proud of that figure. So, by Christmas, we’ll have hit that 1100. That’s amazing. Now, as you can see on my uh on my shirt here, which I have worn every single event this year. This has changed though. It is a mental health first a done with you guys. Have to say it’s absolutely superb. Takes four evenings. Doesn’t take long at all to do it, but the skills that you learn are incredible. It’s a really good course. It gets you to look at different types of mental health, you know, the different conditions, the different way that mental poor mental health can affect you, but it also then gives you a very good toolkit to use if you’re supporting somebody, but more importantly, it gets you to look at your own mental health and are you in a good place to be looking after somebody else. Yeah. Now, last December, this is honest to God true. Uh, I moved into a new storage unit and uh, when I was finishing doing my last session of mental health first aid training, that unit just 48 hours after I’d moved into it burnt down and took all of my stuff with it. All of it. And I remember that Friday morning, I was like, I’m not okay and immediately called on the mental health network to get me back sort of where I needed to be. Yeah. I remember having a chat with you about that and it was like he wasn’t sure just how much damage had happened in the the fire. Yeah. It sounded like it was a total loss. You know, you lost everything. Everything’s gone. Which then you suddenly think, you know, it’s the small things that you lose, you know, the personal things that you lose, you know, and suddenly that can trigger poor mental health. Absolutely. And that’s where it’s really important to have somebody that you can turn to and talk to. Yeah. And another time I was, you know, out and about and saw someone who, you know, they didn’t appear to be having a mental health crisis or anything like that, but I could tell from that training I was like, there’s too many triggers there for me to just ignore that and really helped him. It took me about an hour just help this guy, but it it really really helped him. It turned out they’d lost his wife just that morning and he was in such a bad place and it’s because of your charity and that training that helped him. You just don’t know. You know, people you talk to are very good at masking for mental health and suddenly, you know, you you have a conversation that’s a caring, empathetic and understanding convers and suddenly people start opening up and then you think, what am I going to do with this? How do I manage this? The mental health first day training is really good to help you manage that. Yeah. Yeah. And it’s it’s it’s a course that when when I first did it, I thought it would work very well with bikers. And our community, the bike community has really embraced the whole training, how the training is delivered. And we do it online, as you know. We do the four sessions online, so it’s very accessible wherever people are. Yeah. So, yeah, we we’re going to go for another 250 here so next year. Wow. And we’re just building that national network. And when you look at the pins on the map, we have literally got them in every town and city now. So, it’s it feels like we’re really achieving something. And this this event here is probably close to our 400th event face to face this year. Wow. So, our team this year we’re doing our teams are out in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales, and we’re averaging 15 events a week now, you know. Wow. So, we we want to take the support to where the bikers are, you know, and that’s, you know, it’s it’s good. It’s good. You know, we we’re busy. Yeah. Now to give you an idea, if you want to become a mental health first aer, the training cost about £350 somewhere around there. And with the subsidy that you guys do, you get down to just 50. That’s an incredible amount. Yeah. One of the things that we’re doing is we’re selling some merch. Very nice merchandise. We’ve got some very colorful hats. The winter. You’ve got lots and lots of hats. This is very good. This is a big seller at the moment. This is great for winter. But what we do, the purpose of selling this merchandise is so that we can get that £350 course down to50. Yeah. So any individual that wants to do it can do the training through us and we will, you know, sort of subsidize it. So a lot of the charity funds or most of the charity funds is spent on that training. Fantastic. Now if you want to come over and find the guys at mental health motorbike, you need to go right into the back corner of Hall three. right into the like the almost the right hand corner of hall three as you come in and Honda stand yeah look for the Honda stand which is absolutely ginormous and when you’re there just behind me over there is my good friend pop band color who is doing continuous bike drawings this weekend so Paul lovely lovely to see you Tim I’m going to say keep up the great work please do come down and see these guys bike broke I am so so proud to support them and be supporting them again with their branding in on the shirt at every event through 2026. So that was hall three. Now we head into hall four. And before we get there with Honda just behind you, it’s worth stopping off at Scott Oiler. Now Scott Oiler have been going since 1985. It’s their 40th anniversary this year. And they solve one of the most annoying things of riding a bike. It is chains. You’re forever lubricating them and then you’re forever cleaning them because the oil just attracts all the dirt. If you don’t do it, they break. You end up trying to the side of the road. You got seven nightmare. Absolute nightmare. What these guys do is an automatic lubrication system. It feeds really, really neatly on your bike and you can adjust and control how much oil is put on there. And the oil that they use isn’t as sticky as normal lubricant, so it doesn’t attract quite as much dirt. Not only that, but they’ve also got a few deals on their stand this week. So, do make sure you go over see the guys, tell them that I sent you there. And when you’re there, you can also check out Axe Fix. This is their new system that fits through the axle and it’s far more secure for when you’re transporting your bike. They’re between halls three and four right behind Honda. Make sure you check them out. Now, this was only just revealed earlier this month. It is the BSA Thunderbolt, their first ever adventure bike. Have a look at this. I think it looks fantastic. I think the front of it looks great. I really like the cover over the headlight that reminds me of old school uh A series rallying. I think this could be a great step forward for BSA. The proportions on it looked great. Unfortunately, it was all sort of barriered off so you couldn’t have a sit on it. But just by appearance alone, I think that could be a very interesting bike. I’m interested to have a go on one of those. BSA also on their standard had plenty of bikes for you to have a sit on. They got the Gold Star 650. They also brought along with them some of their lovely heritage bikes as well. This one 1961 500 Goldstar scrambles on loan from the National Motorcycle Museum. Next to it, look at this 1949 125D1 Bantam. It looked brand spanking new that absolutely glorious. And then finally, you’ve got the Roone version, the DBD34 Gold Star. All of them looked exquisite. Beautifully presented. marvelous, marvelous display. Next up then is Maving. Now, yes, they are electric, but I really quite like these guys because they they’ve got their own take on it, and I think their style looks brilliant. There’s a little bit of soul in there, which, you know, it’s difficult to do without that internal combustion. They’ve also brought along their new RM2. Now, this one, unlike all of the previous ones, is made for two. So, you can see that this one’s got two seats, which hasn’t just been a matter of bolting it on the back. No, they’ve had to change the frame, but they’ve also shortened where that well, I’ll say fuel tank, but where that could be. Now, that is from feedback from existing owners who felt like it was a bit breaching. I think the new RM2 looks brilliant. They’ve also got the RM1 and the RM1S on there, too, so you can have a sit and compare between them. Lovely, guys. Well worth going to see them. Now, as you can see, it’s lovely and quiet at the moment, but this was absolutely rammed because down in hall number four, it is the festival zone and the e-ide zone as well. Now, this isn’t the – zone. This is more the festival zone, but they’ve got live music, live displays. It was just a theater of noise and entertainment. Absolutely superb. It was packed the whole day. Well worth going down there. Even if you’re going to spend lunch down there, you have to go and see it. Also down there you will find Yamaha. Now they’ve bought the XSR900GP and this one pays tribute to the Grand Prix racing legend Kenny Roberts. He won three 500cc world titles, became America’s first world champion and spent 13 years with Yamaha and that looks absolutely superb in its new livery. Next to it is the 700 world raid. Now, Yamaha say this makes every road and trail an exhilarating ride. So, you’ve got that blend of rider comfort and long distanceability with practical technology. So, this is encouraging you to use it more on the road and not just off-road. I think this looks fantastic. I’m going to be interested to see what the responses to that at the show. Now, quite cool. In the center of the stand was this, the XZR900 Thunderbolt hatch moto. So, this is the latest custom build, a radical reimagining of the 2022 XSR900 that draws the soul from race machines of the 1990s. And my oh my, doesn’t it just scream ‘ 90s? If you didn’t know any better, you would say that that was a 1990s bike. I think that looks exquisite. Of course, the big thing that was happening on the Yamaha stand was indeed its 70th anniversary. Yamaha Motor Company marked its 70th anniversary this year and the celebrations are continuing into 2026 with the special 70th edition colorway. So, there was multiple bikes wearing this, including the R3, the R9, the R125. They were all there for you to sit on. And I think that 70th anniversary colorway looks fantastic. All of them look exquisite. Would it be wonderful to buy one of each and have them all together in your garage? Lovely, lovely to see that. And finally, there is the Tracer 7 GT YMT. So, Tracer 7 GT, I think, is a great bike. It’s really, really well sorted, and that lovely 690cc engine is an absolute peach, but now they’ve fitted it with that YMT transmission. So, you can choose manual shifting via the finger switch or it can be fully automatic. I don’t know how you’d feel about that, but for a big cruiser, I could see it could potentially be a nice addition. Now, Ducati always like to bring the showstoppers and they have got an exquisite stand full of UK premieres, including the V4 RS. Now, Ducati say this is the perfect blend of performance and comfort. So, you’ve got that engine like the super sport bikes and the dry clutch, but it just has that little bit more sitting upright position, doesn’t it? I think it looks fantastic, especially in the RS livery. Very aggressive, very, very stylish. Love it. Now, have a look at one behind it. This one’s very interesting. This is the Desert X model year 26 prototype. So, this is a bit of a preview of what’s coming up next year. here. So, we saw the Desertex over the last couple of years. This is a preview of what is coming up next that you can scan the QR code on their stand to register your interest. I think there’s going to be a lot of interest in this bike. It looks fantastic already. Cannot wait to see the final piece when it’s all ready to go in 2026. And then take a look at this. Another UK premier. It is the V4 Rally. Multistrider V4 Rally. And this one combines that sort of like adventure and long distance riding, doesn’t it? So, you’ve got those longer forks at the front. It’s got a 30 liter tank as well, so you can travel a bit further, but you’ve still got all of that Ducatti performance. Doesn’t that look fantastic? Also making its UK premiere at MCL 2025, it is the 2S. This is the new one. Uh, designed totally from scratch. It is the lightest ever panagal. It weighs 17 kg less than the previous model from which it inherits its sports attitude and its level of ease in terms of riding and comfort. It looks fantastic especially in that new yellow color. Also making UK I told you Ducati they’ve got a lot of UK premiieres. It is Dval V4 RS and this is a numbered edition as well. uh dedicated components made from high quality materials. Electronics inherited from the super sports bikes as well. Just take a look at this. It is such a muscular roadster, isn’t it? Dedicated Ducati say to those who seek the ultimate performance, lightness, and style. Whatever they want to say, that for me looks great. Absolutely love it, Ducatti. Then there is the Monster Plus. New heart and a new updated design, too. So this has got the new 890cc V2 twin engine and they say cuttingedge electronic technologies. Ducati say that this is the continuous evolution of the spirit that has never changed. A legend they say has put generations of motorcyclists on the road just as it did 30 years ago. I have to say the monster looks fantastic. I do agree that it will embody the very essence of Ducati. lovely thing. And then there’s the Hyper Moard V2SP. It’s lighter, it’s sharper, it’s more sophisticated, and more hyper than ever before, apparently. Uh all new Hypermoard refineses the concept of adrenaline on two wheels. 20 years on from the first prototype, it’s got the same new 890 C V2 twin engine. They’re saying this embodies the essence of extreme riding. I think that looks great. Definitely definitely head over to Ducatistan to have a sit on that. Look at those slick tires. Wow. Also taking that new 890cc heart is the Street Fighter V2. 175 kg of pure adrenaline. They are saying uh new Street Fighter perfectly embodies the original provocative spirit according to Jukati. Whatever you have to say. Again, that stunning new yellow. I think that looks fantastic. But the bike’s really taking my eye is the Scrambler Night Shift. I am a big fan of the Scrambler. And it might look from a distance like it’s black, but it’s not. It’s this really dark emerald green. And I think that new colorway really highlights that lovely teardrop fuel tank and the lines of the bike. It’s that classic elegance and modern attitude coming together, isn’t it? I think it looks brilliant that bike. Lovely new colorway. Beautiful finish on it. I think that’s great. Nice little update for the Scrambler. So, in the center, this is where you’re going to be stood drooling. You got the Panagali V4R. It’s the first bike compleated for road use to feature corner side pods and the Ducatti racing gearbox with the Ducatti neutral lock. Really is built for the challenge. Just behind that, look at this special edition in a minute. Limited numbered series. This one’s got a one-of-a-kind livery inspired by Francesco Beani’s race helmet and gloves. Makes this Panagali V2 instantly recognizable, doesn’t it? And the seat look absolutely glorious. Next to it is the V4S course. Inherited some of the technical solutions developed by the multi-world title winning Moto GP team. Has to offer the rider the same sensations as professional riders. It doesn’t get much better than that, does it? What an incredible machine. And then finally, at the back is the V2 MM93. Again, another special limited edition numbered series. Now, this special edition was developed based on its role as a training bike for Mark Marquez. So, it’s got a lot of dedicated equipment on it, and it they say provides the ideal setup for hitting the track. So you got race position handlebars, forged wheels, and more racing inspired details as well. And the livery was inspired by the 2024 Barcelona postseason test. What a fantastic display by Ducati. And so we’ve got a quick stop at zero because they’ve got the SRF. They’ve also got the S. They’ve got the DS and the DSR stroke X. All of those are there for you to have a sit on. You’ve also got there, you can just about see it in the background, the all new LS1 scooter. But the one that I am really interested in is this. Have a look at this. This is the XP0 concept. So, this is the first custom motorcycle created from a Zeros SRF. It’s a new kind of electric machine. They say one that discards conventions and defines expectations. What does that mean? I don’t know. But just take a look at it. It looks absolutely formidable. That looks like something from the future. I want to have a go on it. Zero. Please let me have a go. That looks amazing. And now let’s take it right back to good old dot. Good old dot. Just look at the finish of these bikes. Don’t they just look exquisite? From the front. You might think, “Oh, they look a little bit sort of timeless, a little bit classic.” And then the closer you get, the more you see of these absolutely stunning details. I am absolutely spoiled for choice at the show this year. If you go, I’m sure you will be too. But please do let me know what your favorite bike from the video is and what your favorite bike from the show is. And now just behind dot, you can just about see there, that is the e-ide zone where you can sign on and have a go on one of the latest generation electric bikes. They are coming. Let’s have a go and see what they’re like. But if that’s not for you, then head back to DOT and put a deposit down. There we are, guys. We’ve covered all of the highlights from MCL 2025.
