[Music] Hey, something [Music] The new Nissan Rogue plug-in hybrid for the American market may look suspiciously similar to the Mitsubishi Outlander, and you’re not imagining it. Rather than being an all-new model, it’s the product of badge engineering. The Nissan Rogue is sold as the Nissan X-Trail in several regions, and the model is offered across many Asian markets, including China, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. This means that a Rogue plug-in hybrid would likely be sold in those countries under the X-Trail plug-in hybrid name. The X-Trail plug-in hybrid is nearly identical in appearance to the Outlander plug-in hybrid, and its styling differs noticeably from that of the standard non-hybrid X-Trail. The most noticeable change is a redesigned grill featuring distinctive chrome bars around the Nissan badge, while the Outlander’s chrome C-shaped elements are now finished in a half black, half body color treatment. The rest of the X-Trail plug-in hybrid features blacked out trim to complement its black 20-in wheels along with a new black accent bar that connects the tail lights. Nissan said you can fit four golf bags with the third row folded. It’s also tall enough to fit a mountain bike.
