Isuzu D-MAX EV Media Drive in Hokkaido
[Music] Hi everyone. We are here today at the Isuzu Hokkaido probing ground together with our Philippine media friends. It is a very special day for us because this is the first time that the Philippine media will be able to test drive all new Isuzu Dmax EV. This driving experience is a part of Isuzu ongoing global development towards the future mobility and carbon neutral solutions. We want our media partners to feel first hand the innovation driving performance and capability of this new DMX EV. We hope that through today’s test drive, our media friends will have a better understanding as to how Isuzu continues to evolve while staying true to the durability and reliability our customers have always trusted. [Music] The all new Isuzu D-Max EV features a dual motor system with a full-time 4×4 drive which can produce a total output of 130 kW delivering a smooth yet strong acceleration. It also generates 325 Newton me of torque which means power is readily available whether onroad or off-road. Equipped with a 66.9 kWh lithium ion battery, the allnew D-Max EV has a driving range of up to 260 kilm based on a WLTC test cycle. It also has a flexible charging. AC charging of up to 11 kW can fully charge the battery in around 10 hours. and a DC fast charging at up to 50 kW can bring the battery from 20% to 80% in around 1 hour. And because it is a true Isuzu pickup, capability remains a priority. It can carry over 1 ton of payload and tow up to 3.5 tons. It also maintains off-road performance with 200 ton mm of ground clearance and a 600 mm water weighting depth. What makes this vehicle significant is that it represent Isuzu’s direction toward carbon neutral mobility without sacrificing durability, reliability, and pickup capability. While the D-Max EV is currently being offered in the European market, we are actively studying the possibility of introducing to the Philippine market in the future, especially as EV charging infrastructure and customer readiness increases.
