Mugen revealed a new kit for the miniature Honda Super-ONE, the kei-sized EV based on the Honda N-ONE e model.
The body kit takes the already punk-rock Super-ONE and styles it so that it looks ready to take on giants.
Pricing and availability haven’t been announced yet, but Honda is planning to put the Mugen Super-ONE kit on sale in late May.
There’s nothing wrong with a bit of peacocking every now and again. Opting for your nicest watch instead of the beat-up timepiece you wear every day. High heels to make you look taller, or a bit of makeup just for fun. Given that, what’s so wrong with Mugen dressing up the Honda Super-ONE in aggressive enough garb that the wee EV could easily be mistaken for trying to pick fights with strangers?
With every accessory installed, the Mugen Super-ONE kit sports a rather large front spoiler adorned with the Mugen logo and replaces the stock hood with a blockier alternative. The sides take the already athletic bodywork of the Super-ONE and one-up them with overfenders and side garnishes, while around back, there’s a diffuser and a truly phenomenal looking rear wing. Mugen will also offer specially-tuned dampers and a set of five-spoke 16-inch wheels, along with a special steering wheel and Mugen-branded Recaro bucket seats.
The Super-ONE isn’t entirely just for show. Honda developed a Boost Mode specifically for the Super-ONE, which raises the output from 63 horsepower to 94 hp. While that’s not much, the Super-ONE tips the scales at just 2403 pounds—shockingly close to a Mazda MX-5 Miata, though still lighter.
While an exact date has not been set, Honda is planning to launch the Super-ONE Mugen kit in late May, 2026. Full pricing will likely be revealed at that time, and with the Super-ONE sold in Japan and the United Kingdom, we don’t expect to see any Mugen-fitted examples reach out shores.
