$13,000 E-Bike Suddenly Caught on Fire While Riding
[Music] The worst wildfires California has ever faced. A wildfire. Wildfires. Wildfires exploding overnight in the Los Angeles area. We almost started a wildfire and burnt down an entire hillside. No. Oh my gosh. It’s starting a fire, dude. No. Don’t get that close. This video is not a joke. One of the scariest moments of my life. The fact that this happened is just like the risk is so much higher here, guys. In Southern California, we don’t get rain that often. Like last year, I want to say we got rain maybe 2 weeks out of the entire year is pretty much a rarity. The Palisades wildfire over in Los Angeles that burnt over a million acres, guys. Dylan and Red had hit me up to go ride out into some hills over in Riverside, guys. Like any other normal day. I guess this could be a little bit of a foreshadow. So, before we even got to the top of the hill, Dylan was like still. I was like, “Dude, let’s just run it to the top and see how it does.” But screw it. Run it to the top. Let’s see. I get to the top. I look back. I don’t see Red was with me. I thought he was just taking a little extra time to get up. And I hear Red call out. By that time, I’m thinking, “Oh, he’s just just trying to find out where we went.” And then I hear him say, “Yo,” again, I kind of knew something was wrong. I shouted back, “Red, are you good?” And I was like, “Oh, something’s definitely up.” I go over the hill and I look and I just see smoke coming from his bike. No, his bike’s on fire. I rush down there and I’m like, “Now stop the fire. Don’t let the bike burn.” And he looks at me. He goes, “Oh, no.” And he was right, honestly. Like, what do you do? We’re all up at the very top of this hill and his bike’s on fire. Everything is dry. I’m looking at all the brush on the left and the right. It was really close to some bush. Oh my gosh, bro. I’m just getting more and more nervous cuz the fire and the flames were just continuously getting bigger and bigger. What the do I do, bro? Oh my gosh, it’s starting a fire, dude. I literally don’t know what to do. I don’t know either, bro. Oh my gosh, dude. In my head, I’m like, “Okay, I need to go get Kyle and Dylan because Kyle and Dylan are still down there.” Yo, his bike is burnt. It’s on fire, bro. You’re not see You can’t even see, but you could see the smoke. They thought I was messing with them, but as we’re rushing back, obviously they saw the bike in flames. And then Dylan, he was like in shock. No. Don’t get that close, bro. First thing Kyle says is, “We’ve got to start throwing some dirt on this thing.” I’m like, “All right, you know what? I’m going to bring my bike. I’m going to turn it around. I’m going to roost some dirt onto the bike.” Guys, this fire was not going out. Oh my, bro. We’re not going to be able to get that up. Like, you can’t do anything with a battery fire, guys. My mind was literally going 1,000 mph just not knowing what to do. So, we were just kind of hoping just this fire would not spread. I’m like, we can’t get too close because the bike literally kept like shooting out bigger and bigger flames. Oh, hopefully it doesn’t look too bad. I am scared to get rolled. So, as we’re sitting there, guys, we start to hear sirens and we’re just like, “Oh, boy. We’re all going to be in some serious trouble right now.” We looked down the hill. We see a fire truck just chilling there. So, the fire department stood down there for about 5 minutes and then drove to the other side of the hill and then looked at it and then drove away because they were like, “Okay, there’s no fire.” Thank God there was no wind at all. If there was wind, I’m almost 99% positive we would have started a hillside fire and a wildfire. So, we are incredibly lucky. The bike was completely done. Everything burnt down to a crisp. Guys, I feel so bad for Red because I know that this bike was like his baby. This bike literally is what kind of what grew his channel. He put so much time and effort into this build, talking with companies, getting all these parts. I’ve done a couple custom builds in the past, and then within literally within minutes, everything just changed just like that. I got all these bikes. Why not?” So, if you guys have no idea who Jack Doy is, he’s probably one of the internet’s most hated kids. It’s my 22nd birthday, so I surprised myself with a $1 million Lamborghini S. Not so fast though, bro. What are you going to do? He is a IRL streamer. Pretty sure he manages like Only Fans girls and stuff like that. So, the goal of this video was to basically teach Jack Dhy how to ride and how to hit a jump. The dude has crashed in the past. So, basically, I was just trying to prevent him from doing that. Was he a little sketchy? Absolutely. I loaded up all three of my bikes and we hit the hills. Yeah. I’m going to I’m going to chill out. Like, no showing off. Like, do you know how to wheelie though or no? Yeah. Yeah. Like, I’m good at that. Yeah. He’s got an idea. No. Yeah. He rides all the time. 🔥 Today’s ride got way out of control… We took the e-bikes up to riverside, hit some insane trails, and things went downhill fast. Red’s bike suddenly caught fire and burned down—we almost started a full hillside fire. Thankfully we got it under control before it spread. After that chaos, I linked up with Tanner Fox and Jack Doherty to teach them how to wheelie, jump, and ride. One of the wildest days we’ve had on the bikes yet.
