Is the DUOTTS N26 the Ultimate 1500W Off-Road E-Bike?

Welcome back to BK42 channel. I’m pretty sure
that if you’re watching this video, you are either considering buying yourself the new Duotts N26 or
you are seeking for an honest and unbiased opinion about this bike. And that’s exactly what you’re
going to get from me. I’m not here whether to tell you to buy it or not, but I’m going to talk about
everything I love in this bike and things I’m not really happy about. By the end of this video,
you will be making your own decision. And if you decide to buy it, I will have a very special
discount code for you. So stick with me. [Music] [Music] It screams like ride me fast. I’m ready
for adventure. And that’s what this bike is about. I’ve been riding the dual M26 upgraded or new
version for quite a while and uh there are some things that I really appreciate in the new
model and I will start talking about them. First, it’s a dual-motor ebike. It comes with two
750W, 65 Nm motors and they are really powerful. I’m riding with one motor only in the rear.
Honestly, for seat rides, I don’t need more than that. 750, it’s a lot. Especially that I live in
a very flat city. Let me try to show you the power of the dual motors. The only way I will try to
climb the tree. I’m not sure that’s a good idea, but what do you think? Let me know in the comments
below. Let’s try it. So, here we go. Let’s see. [Music]
you see I can do that. Let’s try it again. It states in the website
that it can climb 30° hills. I see that it goes a lot further. Let’s go. Woo. That’s power to power
those hungry motors. This bike is equipped with a high-capacity 48V, 20Ah Samsung battery, removable
for convenience. You can charge it either on or off the bike and a full recharge takes around 7
hours. Under moderate use, riding with a single motor at level two assist while pedaling, you
can expect a range of up to 100 km. I’m genuinely pleased to see high-quality Samsung cells used
here. Not only do they meet rigorous safety and performance standards, but they also hold a charge
better and last. In fact, my very first e-bike, still running strong after 5 years of heavy use,
also came with Samsung batteries. They’re still delivering about 80% of their original capacity,
which is impressive longevity in the world of e-bikes. In the Duotts N26, it’s very comfortable.
I’m sitting a large saddle. We’re going to talk about the saddle in a bit. and I can keep my feet
on the floor. I’m 178 meters and that’s fine. It’s a good size for me. The launching power even with
one motor, it’s great. Look how fast it goes from 0 to 29. A couple of seconds. This is a full
suspension e-bike, meaning there’s a front fork suspension and a rear suspension as well. And
there are okay, the front suspension is fine. There are some adjustments. I can make it a bit
harder or lock it or have it quite soft. But the rear suspension to my taste is a bit too hard,
you know. [Music] All right, let’s talk about the saddle. Well, that’s one thing that bothers me
the most in this bike cuz it is a fixed-position saddle. I cannot change the height and could be
a bit softer. Let me try to explain. If I want to use in the cycling mode, let’s say paddle only,
I cannot have my full legs power because it’s too short. It should be like here for me. If I
could change the height, it would be perfect. Look like this. And I can’t. If you are considering
riding throttle only, then… it’s fine. That is just absolutely fine. Like, right now, I’m riding
motor only throttle. So it’s like a motorcycle and I don’t need to worry about the set height which
is okay. The brakes, look at that. The brakes are great. The N26 comes equipped with Ktet hydraulic
brakes and 203 mm rotors. Not only do they look well-built and premium, but they also deliver
strong, responsive stopping power when it counts. [Braking Sound] It’s powerful. It’s like stopping a motorcycle.
For added safety, the brakes are paired with motor inhibitors that cut power the moment you pull
the levers. Like on a motorcycle, the visible brake fluid reservoir is a nice touch that shows
attention to detail. I had experience to ride it on the rain as well. And the huge fenders, they
are plastic huge fenders or muddy guards if you prefer. They just protect enough keeping me dry
and clean all the way. The aluminum frame has an aggressive modern look and Duotts offers the
N26 in two colors with a great paint finish. Just look at those glossy red accents. It’s a huge bike built for riders
between 170 and 200 cm tall with a max load of 150 kg and a total weight of 40
kg. It features a responsive speed sensor and an optional throttle. Out of the box, it’s limited
to 25 km per hour, but I reached 56 km per hour after unlocking it. The ride feels stable and safe
thanks to the massive 26×4″ fat tires and wide 70cm handlebars that offer great control off-road.
On the left, you’ll find the front brake display controls, horn, and light switch. Centered
is a bright, upgraded display with built-in GPS and Bluetooth for app connectivity. The right side
hosts the rear brake, gear shifter, and throttle. The integrated lights are powerful with
rear brake lights as well. That said, there’s no light status indicator on the display,
so I often forget when they’re left on. If the battery runs out, the 7-speed Shimano
Torney TZ system makes pedaling home easy, and overall the cable management is clean
with much of the wiring routed internally through the frame. As I said, this is a huge
bike. Let me show you how I take it upstairs. There is not much place to hold the bike. So,
I keep my hands here and I go up. Honestly, it is heavy. 40 kg. It’s quite a lot. Let’s go down.
Yeah, if you have a small stairs like this one, that wouldn’t be a problem. But if you need
to go four floors or five floors upstairs, that’s going to be difficult. This is the upgraded
version and it comes with an upgraded app. So, the bike connects to my telephone and it even
comes with a mobile phone holder. I don’t like that cuz it’s too big. So, I decide to take it
off. But you can see it that is there. And I’m not even using the system because I would love to use
the navigation. But when I’m trying to use that, for some reason it’s asking me for an upgraded
subscription, which I’m trying to do, but it’s not working. For some reason, I cannot subscribe
myself. I don’t know why. I tried to pay for that, but it doesn’t work. So, I cannot talk much about
the upgraded system because I’m not using it. Oh. Oh. Oh, I almost forgot to show you the built-in
alarm system. As soon as the bike is moved, the alarm goes off. Listen to that. Plus, the
integrated GPS pinpoints the bike’s location directly in the app. Pretty cool, right? You can
track it like this. But honestly, I wish the alarm were at least 10 times louder. Now, take a look at
how I unlock the N26 using Bluetooth. No need to enter a password. Just bring your phone close,
wait for the icon to appear, press the power button, and you’re good to go. Let’s quickly
recap the pros and cons. Pros: Powerful dual 750 W motors with 65Nm of torque. Reliable 48V,
20Ah Samsung battery. Long-range capabilities. Excellent hydraulic brakes. Integrated GPS. Full
suspension for a smoother ride. Built-in front and rear lights. Sturdy aluminum frame with quality
paint work. Practical plastic fenders. Cons: saddle height and angle are not adjustable. The
companion app still needs refinement. At 40 kg, it might be too heavy for some riders. No
light status indicator on the display. As of this recording, the Duotts N26 is priced at
€1,599, which I’d say is fair considering the build quality and features. It also includes a
2-year warranty and free shipping within Europe. Use the discount code BK42 at checkout to get
€100 off. Link is in the description below. If you have any questions, drop them in the
