IONIQ 5: 0 to 60 in 4.5 Seconds! Electric Car Review

Woo, that is fast. This week I’m reviewing the 2025 Hyundai Ionic 5 that just got refreshed. We’re going to go have some fun. Let’s go. My god. Oh wow. Now, let’s dive in to the 2025. It’s spec. Rearw wheelel drive, 225 horsepower, 258 pound feet of torque. All-wheel drive, 320 horsepower, 446 pounds feet of torque, and that’s the one we have this week. 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds. Woo! That is fast. And it definitely kicks in with all that torque. It just kicks you to the back of your seat. Not going to save any tires, mind you, but who cares about that? Range wise, it’s rear wheel drive will give you 318 miles. are allwheel drive 269 mi or 463 km. You’re going to say Pat the Matt Matting. I’ll talk about that later. Or you can brand new trim this year XRT 259 miles. So you lose 10 miles with those more rugged tires and those toes probably screw with your aerodynamics a little bit. Comment what you think about the XRT. Mind you, I like it. I’d like to change some things about it. So, our tester this week’s got 84 kW battery. Can charge at a rate of 250 kilowatt hour. That means 10 to 80% in optimal situations in 20 minutes. Towing capability is 2600 lb. But before I get too far ahead of myself, you guys might want to know what’s new for 2025.
