(NewsNation) — Local authorities in New Orleans are asking the public for help identifying a person who tried to set a Tesla building on fire Tuesday.
The New Orleans Fire Department says the attempted arson took place around 2:54 a.m. at the Tesla of New Orleans building on Tchoupitoulas Street. Surveillance footage shared by the department shows a person throwing what appears to be a Molotov cocktail at the front door of the building. A fireball can be seen exploding after the object is thrown.
