
19 area sites selected for new EV charging stations
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Many locations across the Miami Valley are set to receive charging stations for electric vehicles.
The Ohio Department of Transportation announced Friday that 64 locations in the Buckeye State are set to receive EV charging stations.
In the region, 19 locations were chosen for the new charging stations:
Sheetz – 4215 Colonel Glenn Hwy., Beavercreek
Casey’s – 745 Arlington Road, Brookville
Love’s Travel Stop – 2217 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd., Dayton
Travel Centers of America – 6762 U.S. Route 127, Eaton
Casey’s – 2994 Princeton Road, Hamilton
Casey’s – 8000 Brandt Pike, Huber Heights
Meijer – 7150 Executive Blvd.; Huber Heights
Flying J Travel Center – 3140 State Route 350, Lebanon
UDF – 890 Columbus Ave., Lebanon
UDF – 6643 State Route 48, Maineville
UDF – 5261 Kings Mills Road, Mason
Sheetz – 5999 State Route 122, Middletown
Travel Centers of America – 9787 U.S. Route 40 West, New Paris (Ohio)
Love’s Travel Stop – 2241 Fair Road, Sidney
Love’s Travel Stop – 1725 Ridge Road, Springfield
Casey’s – 1981 Donn Davis Way, Tipp City
Aldi – 6415 Miller Lane, Vandalia
Flying J Travel Center – 175 Northwoods Blvd., Vandalia
Thortons – 7301 Kingsgate Way, West Chester
“Backed by Ohio’s strong automotive and manufacturing sector, these projects position our communities to compete and grow for decades to come while expanding transportation options for Ohioans,” said Pamela Boratyn, director of ODOT.
ODOT said construction will begin in early 2027. Many of the new EV stations will be operational by the end of 2027.
