IM6 EV Review: Chinese Luxury, Done Differently
The IM6 EV is a new Chinese luxury electric SUV arriving in New Zealand under MG Motor’s IM brand (Intelligence in Motion). It promises luxury comfort, strong performance, and a minimalist design, yet it’s not immediately clear where it fits or who it’s really aimed at!
In this review, Gav takes a closer look at the IM6 to figure out what this luxury offshoot is trying to be. Priced from $66,900 for the Premium model (that’s the entry-level) and going up to $89,900 for the Performance version, the IM6 claims a 0–100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds, all in a car that feels more like a sofa on wheels than a sports machine.
