India’s Next EV Game Changer? VinFast VF3 India Update!

[Music] Hi guys and welcome to Drive Spark and in today’s video we’re going to talk about a very special car from Winas which is the VF3. We were recently in Vietnam and we visited their uh plant their factory and there were a lot of cars on option but we specially chose this one and we have made a walk around of this so that you can see that how is the VF3 to look at. Now what you see over here is a micro mini car. Obviously this is the VF3 and that is how it looks like. It gets a lot of color options. In total, it gets 10 color options. The one that you see over here is the Irish berry. And it looks absolutely fantastic. Well, in Vietnam, this car is all over the streets and you can see them customized with different stickers with modifications and all of that. So, yeah, this is how actually the car looks like. It gets like a small SUV’s design because it has these big wheels, this big cladding and yeah, it looks absolutely phenomenal. Well, if you see at the front, this is the headlight unit. You get a projector, but you get a you do not get LED. You get H hallogen bulb. That’s how the front grill looks like. Your Winfast logo with chrome over there. And if you move to the side, you get these 16-in steel wheels with body cladding all over. While you have the side RVM, which is finished in blacked out, piano black finish on the door handle. And that is how the door looks like. Massive door. You get the door color. Obviously interiors are matching the exterior as well. And that is how the car looks like from the inside. One screen which has all the information about the car. That’s your steering wheel with no steering mounted controls. That is how the seats look like. Fabric seats, four seats. And you obviously have manually adjustable seats over there. So now let’s go to the back and let us see the boot of the car. And uh before that, okay, so now let’s check out the boot over here. So that is the boot space and that is how the cabin looks like. That’s the dashboard. That is the second row and that is the third row. Well, you have a little amount of space over here. Well, with the seats folded up, you have around 36 L of boot space, which is not at all uh uh feasible. But when you fold the seats down, you have around 285 L of boot space left. And you can fold these seats down by pulling these straps like this. It becomes like a flat bed. And then you have the 285 L of boot space. When you’re traveling with two people, if you want luggage within the city and yeah, that’s how you fold the seat back up. It just locks in place and you have place for four people. Now that’s how the boot looks like and the boot lid is not that heavy thanks to the hydraulic struts. It closes very very easily and there you have the VF3 badging. The tail light mix and match of H hallogen and LEDs. You have the chrome bar running right at the back and then you have the shark fin antenna on top which actually goes overall well with the car’s aesthetics. Now let us move on to the inside. And that is how you access the second row. You have to move this seat and that is how you will access it. And that is how the interiors look like. You have vertically mounted uh AC vents on either sides and you have horizontally mounted AC vents at the center. And just look at this car. It actually looks like a mini SUV. However, it’s a micro car. Well, if you talk about some specifications over here, well, the maximum power that it generates about 40 horsepower and 110 mm of peak torque. A max speed of about 100 km an hour. And the battery capacity is an 18.64. 64 kWh battery. Uh if you talk about the range, the claimed range is 215 km an hour. We’ll have to see how much will it go on a full charge and the charging time for a fast charging is 10 to 70% in 36 minutes. Obviously, you get a charger with the car as well. Drivetrain, it’s a rear wheel drive and you also get two modes that is your eco and normal. And apart from that, if we talk about safety, obviously you get uh ABS uh traction control, you get hill hold, you get a speed lock, you get a lot of safety features. Apart from that, you get a single airbag for the driver and you also get rear park assist and a rear view camera as well. As I mentioned, you have a lot of color options, total of 10. The one that you’re seeing over here is the Irish berry color, which looks absolutely phenomenal. And obviously you have a lot of customization that you can do with this car. Now if you talk about the warranty, the new car comes with a 7-year 160,000 kilm of warranty and a battery warranty of 10 years, which is a 200,000 km of warranty, which is actually nice. Now, this warranty is according to what they receive in Vietnam. We’ll have to see how much warranty we will get in the Indian market. So yeah, guys, that was the VF3. I hope you like this car. I hope Vinfast will get this car soon to the Indian market. they will get it but initially they will be launching the premium cars and after that they will be getting this micro VF3 to India.
