Mahindra BE 6 Formula Edition Walkaround | Styling Highlights, Interior & Prices Detailed
What you see behind me is Mahindra’s new Formula E Challenger, the M12 Electro. And inspired by this racing car, Mahindra’s launched the B6 Formula E edition. Prices are out and here’s everything that you need to know about the vehicle. The biggest change that you can see to this Mahindra V6 Formula E edition is a completely new face. The headlamps have been redesigned, the LEDs have been redesigned, and you get these fancy looking sporty stripes on the hood. This is of course inspired by aerodynamics and of course some bit from the rally, but mostly it’s for the Formula E touch. Like the B6 Batman Edition, this Formula E edition 2 has got some fancy touches on the side. You get a Formula E badge. You get these fancy 20-in wheels which are introduced with the B6 Batman Edition. And you get these very sporty looking stripes that are in various colors depending on what shade of the vehicle you choose. Oh, and there’s an orange insert in the running board. This is the rear of the B6 Formula E edition. And there are some highlights here that will get your attention. One is of course this large spoiler at the back in black for this white version. You get orange tow hooks at the back and of course the Formula E badging here. We’re in the nerve center of this B6 Formula E edition. Yes, we’re in the front seat and in the driver’s seat that too. And Mahindra really makes you want to feel like you’re in a race car. The starter button has a little clasp on it. There are orange inserts. You get an Formula E badging. And of course, you get orange inserts here on the doors. You get the door handles also in orange and the regen and one pedal button are also in orange. You also get an orange type here which would have otherwise been a light in the race car. You also get this Alcantara material as well as this carbon fiber like elements to give you that sporty touch. This car of course came with a cowl already in the standard version and this adds to the sort of racer cabin that you want. Oh, and finally we want to point out you also get a Formula E badging on the dashboard. We’re in the second row of this Mahindra B6 Formula E edition and there are some very nice touches here. This uh signature pull handle of the B6 is in orange. The door cards have been painted in orange. You of course get the same amount of space as a standard car. That has not changed. And you get orange stitching as well as formula E motives in the seats. The seats are trimmed out in this Alcantara like material adding a sporty touch to the vehicle. Oh, and Mahindra says these are carbon fiber like materials. It’s of course inserts on the door. So there you’ve had a brief glimpse of this Mahindra B6 Formula E edition. Now here are some important facts and figures that you should know about the car. One is that unlike the B6 Batman edition that Mahindra launched earlier this year, there’s no limited number of units, but the first 999 people that book the car will get a few additional touches and will also get a chance to participate in the lucky draw from where three people will get to watch the London EP pre in August. They will also get a full pit lane experience and some additional bits that come with participating in the lucky draw. Now, this car is available in four different color schemes, but the interiors are same throughout with the orange inserts. It’s available in two variants, FE2 and FE3. The FE3 over the FE2 rather is that you get adaptive suspension and a few more bits inside the cabin. And there’s a rupees 1 lakh price difference between both of them. Now, here are some important dates. Add to cart will start on 14th of December. Bookings will start on 14th of January and deliveries will start on 14th of February.
