QJ MOTORS ELECTRIC – ECIMA 2025

Welcome back everyone to Icon 2025 on the QJ booth and I have found in a corner something that really interests me for the future, not the present, the future. I want to see the concepts. These might be not the units that I recommend on buying, but it’s nice to see companies working on the technology and trying to push it forward. Uh, electric vehicles, electric scooters, electric vehicles. Uh, now for road tripping, I do prefer either a full gasoline powered scooter or I don’t know, maybe a hybrid. I do have at home a hybrid Toyota. So, it’s nice uh to not worry about a charger to just get like petrol in it and uh off you go. And yet, you still have very low fuel consumption. But for the city, for commuting, for 99% of what you do with a scooter, because my use case of going on longdistance road trips is very particular. Uh, but 99% of people use them around the city. And for that, electrics are actually quite nice. I’ve ridden a couple of electric scooters. They seem unfinished. They seem that like they still have work to do with them, but they’re nice to ride, especially through the city. That instant torque, that instant punch of the electric engine, that instant response really works in the city in traffic. So, let’s start. And where should we start? We have big ones, small ones, little ones, minuscule ones. I think we should start. We should start right here. We’re actually going to start with this one since they are looking at that one. So, what do we have? We have the Omo 01 Plus. 3 kW engine, 95 km an hour, top speed, gradability, 18°. Okay, this is uh how steep of a grade it can climb. Lithium ion battery 60 60 amp hours 23 kg for the battery uh 10 amp charging 135 km endurance range. So this would be your best case scenario 135 km charging time from 30 to 80% 3 and 1/2 hours that’s eh decent weight of the unit 125 kg. So, this is the unit. Nice little machine. Looks like a regular scooter, but uh it’s all electric. Digital display right here. We can’t see it. Uh can we unlock something? No, we cannot. We can’t see under the seat. I don’t see a charging port, so you probably have to pull out the battery to charge it. I don’t like seeing that, but yeah, it is what it is. This is kind of the old style of electric scooters that I don’t necessarily like where you have to take off take out the battery and bring it inside and charge it. Uh even though it’s a 23 kg battery might not seem like a lot, but trust me, 23 kg every 2 or 3 days to take it in the house and charge it is a pain in the ass. Uh what’s next? The ELT 27E. Again, 3 kW, 80 km an hour, 19% gradability. Uh, battery weight 13 1/2 kg* 2. This might actually be nicer to every every evening take one inside and charge it. Uh, 120 km endurance range. So, that would be the best case scenario. And from 30 to 80% in 2 and 1/2 hours, but you have two of them to charge, so it’s actually worse than that one. In terms of looks, it’s kind of like a retro style scooter. Again, no charging port. Oh, I just noticed this interesting QJ logo. Flying QJ. We have cubby holes up front. LCD dash. This interesting seat. Looks good. I don’t know how comfortable it is. Uh, electric hub motor just like the previous one. No, the previous one wasn’t an electric hub motor. Yep. It’s got a belt. So, the engine is uh the electric motor is inside the frame, but this one has a standard hub motor uh with an interesting design. And uh yeah, but again, the same thing. You have to pull out the battery, take it inside. Next to it, we have something pretty much the same, the ELT 27K. Again, same specs, two batteries, 28 amp hours per battery. It’s kind of the same machine but with a different design. Just a little bit different design. Again, hub motor. Uh let’s take a look now that it’s free. The small little one. This is interesting. This is what you can do with electric. So, what do we have? This is limited 45 km an hour. So, this is be like a 50cc. It has either 800 watt or 1200 watt engine. So about two horsepower, 26 amp hours, 9 kilograms or you can get the 20 amp hours with 7 kg 65 km best case range. Uh you know for most people that would be enough. So you 65 km is best case. Maybe in the worst case scenario you can get like 30 km. So if your commute is less than 30 km you can do it every day. You’re not going to have much uh much extra left, but you can do it. 90 kg for the whole scooter. 3 hours of charging time. Again, not great. But check this thing out. Kind of gives like old school Vespa vibes. Up here we have a start stop button right here. Uh Xbox controller style. Here we do have cruise control, turn signal indicators, uh, trip plus and minus. This is probably to control the dash. Interesting grips the way they flow into the handlebar. But the most interesting part is it’s weird floor right here with how the seat just Okay. And a rear swing arm with is it dual shocks? No, it’s a mono shock on the back. We do have a hub motor inside. Disc brake on the back and on the front. But just the way the thing looks. Check it out. Oh, singlesided uh swing arm. [Music] So yeah, if you want to turn heads with your little electric scooter, this thing definitely is going to turn heads. Small little wheels. What are they? 10-in wheels. Front and rear. 10 inch very small. But yeah, this thing and the headlight. Yeah, this thing is going to turn heads. Not necessarily the the best electric scooter, but it’s definitely going to turn heads. And now moving to something more interesting. These two. First, the Omo 03. That was the BQ. By the way, I I think I forgot to mention the Omo 03 electric 5 kW. So that’s about 8 horsepower, 100 km an hour top speed 99. This is in most countries if it’s more than 99, you cannot drive it on a car license. Uh, gradability 19° lithium ion battery 72 volt uh battery voltage 67 amp hours 28 kg battery weight but I don’t think that’s going to matter. uh 15 ampu charging current 125 km working condition range. So not best case scenario working condition from 30 to 80% in 3 hours and the whole scooter weighs 142 kg. 14-in wheels on the back, 13 uh 14-in wheels on the front, 13 on the back. Let’s take a look at it. Looks like your regular scooter except on this side it is missing an exhaust up front. They have this kind of version of scooter in petrol form in a 125 cc. This would be a 125cc equivalent. Dashboard looks pretty much the same. Yep. Handlebars are locked. But this is where it gets interesting. Kila system. And here we have a charging port. I don’t know if it’s a car charging port or it’s one of their propri proprietary ones, but uh USB charger right here, but it should be a car charging port, so you can charge it at a normal charging station. I don’t know if it says anywhere here. No, it does not. Uh we have regular underseat storage and we have a motor right here with a belt drive taking power to the rear wheel. So, this would be actually what I’m interested in. Something with a powerful motor, uh, charging at a regular car charger at the charging station. You can stop, leave it there for an hour or two, and just charge it or maybe put one in your at your house. Interesting is it does seem to have a CVT transmission. I don’t know if just this is just the belt, but this is full metal right here. And we have a regular scooter transmission on the back with uh oil. Yep, there’s the drain bolts. I don’t know if it does have oil, but it looks like it has oil in it. I’m wondering if it has a variator inside. That would be interesting to know. And moving next to it is the Omo 07. This is based off the Ford 400. We have 11 kW. So that’s about 15 horsepower, 129 km an hour top speed, 29 uh degrees gradability, 96VT battery, 80 amp hours, 45 kg for battery. You’re not taking this one inside. uh 12h hour 12 amps charging and endurance range 115 km. So this is actually a bit of an older model. I think I filmed it in previous shows. It weighs 226 kg, 3 1/2 hours, 30 to 80% 15in wheels on the front and 14 on the back. It looks pretty much like the Ford 400. Everything is just about the same. I don’t see the charging port right here. Normal swing arm on the back. Electric engine right here. Belt drive taking the power to the rear wheel. Again, this is metal. Again, I’m wondering, does it have a CVT? We don’t get these back home in Romania, so I have no idea where to test them, where to see them, where to uh ask more questions here. There are a lot of people running around, but uh yeah, nobody’s interested in the electric ones. I am. I’m more curious about the electric ones. And right next to it, we have a little sport bike. Electric sport bike. The O AO. Wow. Wow. Electric. Strange naming. Again, it’s supposed to be a 125 cc motorcycle as this has the same as the OMO 03. The same powertrain with uh what is it? 60 A battery capacity a little bit smaller 120 kg 120 kil km range 72 volts weight 121 kg and 3 hours charge time from 30 to 80% 17in wheels front and rear. What are we? Okay, this is interesting. So, this is a clutch. This feels like a clutch. That’s a brake. What the hell is this? Does it have gears chain drive on the back? Is this just a regular motorcycle that they’re claiming it’s electric when it’s not? Did they just remove the exhaust? No. Shifter on that side. Brake on this one. Yeah, this is a brake. There’s the the master cylinder, the brake fluid, rear brake, ABS front and rear, monoshock here on the back. And yeah, right in here. Yep, there’s the battery right there. And the electric motor. But the electric motor, where’s the chain is way down there. The electric motor is going into a gearbox. Okay, so the electric motor is way up here and it’s going into a gear box. Yep, these are gears. I can feel gears going in. That’s That’s interesting. It says nothing of gearbox here. Absolutely nothing of gearbox, but it does have gears. This is an interesting one. And it does look good. So, you can uh I don’t know. Electric. You try getting these young kids on electrics because they don’t make sound. They can’t shift gears. They’re boring. Well, this might not make sound, but uh you can shift gears, so you can have your cake and eat it at the same time. Interesting concept name is somebody at the marketing department needs to be fired. But I mean the QJ. Wow. How can you have a name of three vowels? It’s impossible to pronounce. But otherwise, electric 125cc sport bike with a gearbox and the clutch and a manual clutch. That’s interesting. And one last thing from QJ electric. This guy from marketing needs a raise. The rainbow. The QJ rainbow. I love these little cars for your 14y old for your 16 year old depending on the lowest in your country. Uh what do you have? 30 kW 102 km an hour top speed battery energy 17.3 kW 200 km endurance range. So that would be best case scenario. 13-in wheels all around. You can see just how small they are. Uh slow charging time, 6 and 1/2 hours. Fast charging time, half an hour. That is awesome to see. And check out the dimminitive size of this little machine. And yet huge door. And we have wide opening doors almost 90°. Two seats up front. a lot of uh room inside. That’s because the battery is in the floor. So, it has a completely flat floor. Ow, it’s small. QJ logo here in the steering wheel. One dash. Here you have your infotainment. Back there. We have air con. Okay. We have a cubby hole for your phone. Oh, that’s just check it out. You just get in. Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Your gear selector right here. Electric windows. Seats are one piece with the headrest integrated. The doors, you have cubby holes. You have a water bottle here. You have a nice little padded armrest for when you’re driving. This feels nice. Tire pressure monitoring system, adjustable headlights, lock, electric, and sport modes, turn signal indicators. They’re on par with like a cheap little car. You can hold on. You also have back seats and they are proper back seats. You can fit an adult in there. You have nets here on the side for people in the back to keep their stuff. A little bit of an extension right here. So, in case you get you have fat friends. And the back seat passengers or actually the entire car has just one cup holder right here. And they’re missing a panel right here. I don’t know why. Let’s put this back. Interesting little machine. This would be lovely for a 16-year-old. Hell, I would have I would like one. Can we open the Yeah. Nope. But you can see a little bit inside the trunk. It ain’t big, but it ain’t small. But you can probably fold the back seat. Yep, there are the tabs right there. You can fold the back seat and get yourself like a two-seater with a huge cargo capacity in the back. You know what? Since nobody is looking, I’ll just leave this here. Come on. Let’s do this, dude. Oh my god. Come on. This is huge inside. Close it. How quiet is it? Oh, it’s not properly closed. Decently quiet. The show is loud outside, but it is decently quiet. Check out legroom. Good steering position. We have a ton of space to the passenger. Or it’s not really a ton of space, but you can fit I’m I’m not a small bloke. I’m pretty fat. And uh you can fit two people of my size tremendously comfortable in here. Uh dash is right where I can see it. Navigation is right where I can see it. This is what I see from the driver’s seat. Big windows on each side. Very small blind spots in the back. We have a tray here for your passenger to keep snacks and everything. We also have a second tray right here. Hugely practical. You have one. You don’t have a glove box. That is true. But you have a tray here with two Yep. two USB chargers. What else? We have something. Oh, a luggage hook. You can see QJ makes scooters. You have a luggage hook right here. Your electric windows are right here. Aircon. A lot of trays to just throw stuff. We have speakers. Speakers in doors. A speaker up top. This is a great little machine. Sun visors with mirrors. Only the passenger, only the driver gets a mirror. Okay, that’s weird. Uh, I don’t want to be sexist, but I think this is intended for women drivers. But if you have a girlfriend you want to come that’s going to want to come with, she’s not going to be happy. She can’t do her makeup while in the passenger seat. But if you’re driving, you can do your makeup. Uh QJ, put a mirror in this one as well. Please don’t be stupid. But yeah, this is nice. Twospoke wheel. If this thing is like cheap under a couple of thousand, like under €10,000, this would be And come on. Doors close with a nice thump. Actually, I don’t think I have it I had it properly closed. It seems you need a lot of force to close it. Let’s go. Now it’s closed. It’s even quieter. This is awesome little machine from HUJ. I don’t think we’re going to see it in my market anytime soon, but it’s an awesome little machine. Let me get my back backpack so people can film. QJ Motor Rainbow. They should clean it a little bit. But funky little machine. Love it. Love to see it. So this is it from uh the QJ stand in terms of electric scooters, electric vehicles actually because they have electric scooters, motorcycles, little cars, little city cars. You see it from the front. That’s the charging port right here. I don’t know if it has a frunk. Probably not because all the electronics have to go somewhere and they go into this little front area. But yeah, that has been it from uh the QJ electric stand and uh I’ll catch you guys in the next videos. Check out uh the playlist that this video is part of so you can see all of the other videos from uh IKMA 2025. And thank you for watching. See you in the next one. Bye.
