Meet the 2026 Honda WN7 | Everything you need to know!

Honda’s finally built the electric bike that we’ve all been waiting for. The 600cc performance fast charging in half an hour and it actually looks good. [Music] Welcome back to the channel. My name is Safi Sprocket and we’re at the Honda stand. Honda’s been teasing us with electric prototypes for 4 years. Remember the EV fun concept? Well, this year it’s real. The W7 has rolled out onto the show floor. And this isn’t just another commuter EV. Honda’s calling it their first true fixed battery electric motorcycle design for Europe, and they’re pitching it as fun everyday naked machine. So, let’s break down what makes the WN7 such a big deal. First off, the looks. The WN7 keeps that naked Street Fighter attitude. It’s slim, aggressive, and futuristic without going over the top. Matte finishes, clean lines, and design that feels refined and balanced. But up close, you’ll notice the attention to detail, the compact frame, the neatly integrated battery pack, and a seat height that feels approachable for most riders. It’s unmistakably Honda, modern, practical, and sharp. Now, the heart of the WN7 is Honda’s new fixed lithium ion battery system. It’s rated at 15.5 kW, and it delivers 130 km of range, which for those of you who are in the UK is 80 m. It’s perfect for city riding, daily commuters, and even some weekend fun. But when it’s time to recharge, you won’t be waiting long. Using a CCS2 fast charger, you can go from 20 to 80% in around 30 minutes at home. With a 6 kW amperage wall charger, it will reach full charge in under 3 hours. Performance-wise, the WN7 delivers the equivalent of a 600cc petrol bike powered by an 18 kW water cooled motor. are producing a healthy 100 new m of torque. That’s liter bike territory for a twist and pull. There’s also an 11 kW A1 license version coming, meaning that this bike is accessible to newer riders. At a claimed 217 kg, it’s not feather light, but it is balanced and it is manageable. And it’s classic Honda engineering. Honda isn’t cutting any corners with the chassis or the components either. It’s been tuned for both urban agility and back road fun. The suspension and the brakes are built for confidence and durability, not just for commuting convenience. This isn’t a toy or a concept. It’s designed to be a real rider’s bike. On the tech front, the WN7 features a 5 inch fullcolor TFT display with Honda Road Sync connectivity that gives you access to navigation, music, calls, rides, data, and even software updates in the future. You’ll also get multiple riding modes such as eco, standard, and sport, plus regenerative braking that adds range and gives a natural engine braking feel. It’s simple, it’s modern, and it’s built to evolve through updates over time. Now, the order book is already open, and if you pre-order, you can even grab one of these complimentary bags that they will throw in. So, how did the name of the bike actually come around? Well, apparently W stands for be the wind, N for naked, and seven for the performance class. A little poetic, a little bit of a tight stretch, but I guess it fits. Now, this launch isn’t just about one bike. It’s about part of Honda’s bigger EV road map. They’ve committed to a carbonneutral motorcycle lineup by 2040. And the WN7 is their first real step into that fun performanceorientated EV segment. Honda’s making it clear. Electric bikes aren’t just for commuters anymore. They’re for riders who want performance, freedom, and style. So, there you have it, guys. This is the Honda WN7, a naked electric bike with fast charging, 600cc equivalent performance, Honda reliability, and realworld range. The big question is, will this be the first electric motorcycle that truly wins over everyday riders? Or are bikers going to still resist to the EV revolution that’s coming?
