The difference between Hybrid, Plug-In Hybrid and Electric Cars
Electric cars are booming and it’s easy to see why. Lowering running costs and greener motoring all make it very appealing. But there’s different kinds of electric cars. There’s hybrids and then there’s different kinds of hybrids. So here’s a quick breakdown on the three. There are three main types. First up is your fully electric vehicle or known as EV. They run entirely on battery power, zero emissions, low maintenance, and quiet to drive. Perfect if you have home charging or easy access to public chargers. Next up is plug-in hybrids. They run on electric power first, then petrol or diesel can kick in for longer trips. It’s ideal for shorter commutes for the flexibility for longer journeys with lower running costs if charged regularly. And don’t forget to stay up to date on all things Tyson and servicing. Make sure to hit that subscribe button. And last but not least is selfcharging hybrids. They charge themselves whilst you drive. No plug needed. It’s great for short trips and city driving with lower fuel costs but less green than a plug-in or a fully electric car. Whichever electric car you choose from, there’s one to fit every lifestyle. Greener, lower running costs, and even can be more fun to drive. The future is going to be electric. [Music]
