5 most economical hybrid cars #automobile #car #hybrid #fuel #mpg

These are the five most economical used hybrid cars that you can buy here in the UK right now. Uh we’ve done diesel cars in the last few days. We did petrol cars yesterday. Today, hybrid cars, not plug-in hybrid, just self-charging hybrid cars. Starting with the car in fifth place, first of all, which is the Toyota Corolla 1.8 hybrid, of course. Made from 2019 until uh present day. uh does 62.7 miles per gallon. Incidentally, every one of these figures is the figure um quoted by the manufacturer of the car themselves and it’s their combined figure. So, a bit of uh town driving, bit of motorway driving, essentially a good kind of overview of everyday driving. The car in fourth place next is the Hyundai Ionic. The specific one we’re talking about here uh is the version made between 2016 and 2022 uh which does 62.8 mp gallon. So just a small increase on the Corolla that we’ve just done. The car in third place does exactly the same miles per gallon. 62.8. And that car is the Honda Jazz E HV. Uh made from 2020. So the current version of the Honda Jazz. Uh the car in second place is arguably this is the car that everyone thinks of when they think of hybrid vehicles. It certainly is for me, the Toyota Prius. Uh this particular one I’m talking about here is the fourth generation of the Prius, made from 2016 through until 2022. And it’s a fairly decent step up from the Jazz, which was 62.8 to now 68.3 mp gallon. only beaten of course by one car, the car in first, which is another Toyota, the Toyota Yaris. Um, now whether it’s the previous version made from 2012 until 2020, or the current version made from 2020 until now, they both uh quote a figure of 68.8 m per gallon. Um, no surprise really. Toyota 1 and 2, I’m not surprised by that. Certainly, if this list has been of interest and you would like a list of plug-in hybrid vehicles, let me know in the comments and I can certainly do
