New channel about Commercial Electric Vehicles!
Hi and welcome to Vola Haulers, the show about commercial electric vehicles. This is going to be my first video in English, so please bear with me as there will be some weird pronunciations. Uh I am Danish, so uh English is not my primary language and you will hear that. And uh I’m sorry in advance. I’ve been testing electric vehicles for around 6 years now. I was recently requested to do an English video as well. So uh I’m going to test it out. I’m not certain this is going to be online, but uh if it’s online, you will see it. This channel is going to be all about electric commercial vehicles as I said. So we’re going to have a look at primarily panel vans and they are going to be below 3500 kilos. So that’s 7,700 lb. So that’s going to be the general limit for what we’re going to test here on the channel. We will also occasionally look at companies that have invested in electric trucks, electric buses and so on. Uh but I will not be driving there. I will be visiting them, the companies, talk about their vehicles and uh drive with one of their chauffeurs. I’ve been testing vehicles for the last six years and uh I thought now was the time to do it in uh in English and uh try and expand my my viewer base a little bit and uh try to attract some some people that are not necessarily Danish but uh maybe European or maybe from abroad uh because I think it really expands on on uh what I can do with the channel and it expands on on of course on the audience and uh it gives me a lot of different perspective that I wouldn’t necessarily get from a Danish audience. That’s why I thought this was a good idea. So, as I mentioned, please comment down below. Is this uh something you’re interested in? Uh is it something that you’re uh trying to do in your in your fleet electrifying some of your vehicles? And if you have some uh specific challenges, I’m willing to take them up here on the channel as well because uh I get to borrow different cars and uh it might just be that we can uh that we can borrow the uh the car that you’re looking for or looking to buy. So, uh yeah, just reach out uh make a comment down below and uh let’s see if uh we can make it happen. The transition to electrification is still quite slow when it comes to commercial vehicles. So, that’s why I thought it it’s it was going to be a good idea to start this channel to have a discussion about electrified commercial vehicles, not just the the private sector, but uh also for commercial vehicles because it’s one thing to change your private car to an electric one. I’ve done so almost 10 years ago now and it works fine in our daily lives. But it’s something completely different when we talk about commercial vehicles because you have a company that needs to be run in a smooth manner. You need to be aware of the the the towing capacity, the the amount of um tonnage you can have in the car and uh the range on it and uh how the towing or potential towing that you’re going to do, how that will affect your range. So, as I said, we’re going to discuss the feasibility of electric commercial vehicles. So, let me know down below. Is it is it even possible for you to electrify some of your vehicles in your fleet?
