popular in the 1990s and 2000s This reminds me of that but this is electric It is a Kinetic but it has nothing to do with the Honda A new scooter has come to the market Hello friends, my name is Gagan And welcome to today’s video Where we have the Kinetic DX But now, it is electric so DX, DX plus What are the things? Who is manufacturing it? What is new? What is different? Let’s talk about all those things And obviously, you can see the price behind But let me explain the problem with the price So, you have to start with the key But there is no key Because it will not work with the key And neither is it necessary to keep the key
in your pocket to turn it on nearby This will turn on by inserting the passcode Which you have to put here It’s a different matter that it’s already
becoming unreliable in some scooters. I will tell you a lot of things which they have definitely done differently But I think a lot of things are still to be thought about Will it work or not? But there are a lot of genuinely interesting things I will tell you that First of all, we will start And the kinetic metal body used to come There is also a metal body here This is metal, this is metal That panel is metal, This is a fibre, and here is the MRF Zapper tire Now, it is in front of 12 inches And it’s 12 inches in the rear, too The logo is illuminated here It is very bright actually This light LED is also looking very bright And the logo of Kinetic is also illuminated However, it looks quite different It looks like the entire white panel
is painted with spray paint And it feels like that So, the finish can look a little odd But as they say, in terms of design It feels very much intact, like the old Kinetic Just like how the first Kinetic used to come here, It has been made to give a completely similar look. Now, is this a good thing or not? How many people will relate to this? How many people of today’s generation
actually know what the Honda Kinetic DX was? That is a different thing That is a debate in itself Some people might know, while others may not. But yes, it has come After that, some rubber beading has been given here And there are some other things Which should have a better finish But before telling them, let me
talk about the other things Actually, I will go on while telling Charger lid open Where is this? Well, there is a charger here The lid keeps open. And if I press this After pressing it for 10 seconds, something like this… Oh, brother, this is a battle to open There are already many panels… I will tell you later why this has been opened But let me tell you first So, in the old Kinetic DX, a panel
like this used to come. Which used to show speed and all Now, this digital panel is here And it has a speaker over here which makes sound, Which I think will break in a few days It looks like it’s of poor quality. But I think they will fix it in the
actual production variant There shouldn’t be that much of an issue But this is not a touch screen or something like that Which is a good thing Because all the controls are simple And these are not controls You can’t even change anything here All these things are already given in a simple way Which has to be displayed Like there are 3 range modes There are 2 variants But both will have 3 options So, change the mode from here. This is power, turbo, range Depending on which variant you are buying, They have started switching off the lights. Anyway, I am still showing you The light is enough that you will be able to see it. So, depending on which variant you are buying Whether it’s DX or DX Plus DX is for 1,11,499 The DX Plus is for 1,17,499, 6,000 is expensive And what features does it get? You get few app connectivity features, There will be connectivity features in DX, too But it will only have Bluetooth connectivity, In DX Plus, there will be an
internet connectivity feature You will be able to do many things from a distance. And if you forget this pass key, Then, you’ve to connect it to the app to change it So, that’s the thing But what is the use of these buttons? Well, first of all, you have the headlight button here To turn on/off the headlight, you can do it from here, Then, hi/low beam buttons, After that, you get indicator buttons, This horn is given here And along with the horn button, you get volume button, I don’t know what it does And it feels a little broken from inside This reset button is given here I don’t know what it resets When I asked, no one had any idea What it resets I think it resets the trip, That’s why the button is given here And if I try to do it It’s not working But it should be a trip reset I didn’t flash the light here The event one… Yes, I think the odometer is switching, And the trip should be reset But the trip isn’t resetting. I don’t know why it’s not working. Maybe it will work only in the ignition/ready mode, There is cruise control here, You get a reverse button, And there’s a button to access
the boot and charger socket, Then, you get mode here, And this ready button is given here With this, you can basically start/stop the scooter. So, that option is given. If I press it once and turn it off by putting the brake. Actually, it’s not working. The quality of this… Actually, the button went inside The quality is still a little unfinished; it’s a little odd. But below that, This hook is given here, The socket is given here, Now, there’s one more difference
in the DX plus and DX About the onboard charger This charger is inbuilt into this, And if you want to take it out It has a very interesting way, Look here You can pull as much as you want And it has quite a decent length, I think it’s about 6 feet long, So, it’s useful for you And after that, you put it like this. It’s a different thing that the
kind of environment we’ve here It’ll be a little difficult to draw
it out because of the debris. So, you have to keep it clean if you buy it I’m trying to lock it back. I kept it back in, And once you close this You saw that it was a little difficult to take it out Here, the floor board is very flat It has a 2.6 kWh LFP battery This is a different thing about this scooter It comes with an LFP battery And Kinetic claims That it runs 4 times faster
than the other NMC battery packs. And one more thing Here, you can see that there is a stand The front guy will keep his feet here Where will the rear guy keep his feet? Can you see this choke-like button? It’s a feeling of nostalgia If you turn this Then, these footpegs pop out, Like it’s locked And I pressed it, And it comes out like this. Again, it can get dirty, But it’s fine and is working It’s looking sturdy There is no issue Pressing this makes access to two things, First, this power socket pops out,
and second, the boot unlatches here. And in the boot, two small helmets can fit. One in which will be the full face helmet, Below that, there is a space where Apple is kept. This is the light that turns off
when you close the boot. The chassis number is written here. Then, if you see, you can see Okay. So, you need to fix these helmets properly And these are the cheaper helmets,
which we buy for 150–200–300. Please don’t use these helmets. Although they look cheap, you can get
more injury because of these helmets. Here, the Kinetic is mentioned, The light is full LED. Below, there is also a light for a number plate. It has reflectors on all three sides. On the back, you’ve this motor
which gives 6 horsepower, The interesting thing is, the DX Plus
variant has a higher range because its regen is better. So, its range is 12 km more. It will give you a range of 116 km. Otherwise, you’ll get a range of 102 km with DX. And, you get a dual suspension on the rear, And obviously, on the front,
you’ve telescopic suspension. Apart from that, I don’t remember
what I’m forgetting to tell you. The quality is overall looking good. There is no issue in that. DX Plus branding is given here. And apart from that, the general
things I’ve already told. Yes, you get some connectivity features, But basically, the logic behind this
scooter, as per Kinetic, is that By opting for the LFP battery, we’re
leaning more toward longevity. And range of 116 km is sufficient for all. And without too much modification, “Back to the Future” is actually written here. So, there is a different theme. I am not really convinced, There are multiple reasons. They have to prove their reliability and how it’ll work. Two scooters are given — DX and DX Plus. But almost with all the same features. There’s only one battery pack of 2.6 kWh. There is no difference in that. So, there are many things
which aren’t clear and sorted yet. But the brand name is a little big. It’s not any other Chinese player company. In fact, no Chinese company makes scooters like this. They have customised it a lot. So, let’s see how things work. What would be the real-life range? For now, this is the story in front of you. Well, it’s a completely India-specific scooter. Well, there is no Honda involved here, but Kinetic is the same family, and they have been developing this since 2022.
