Dodge Charger Daytona EV Windows Breaking Spontaneously
what is up guys welcome on back to TK’s Garage and oh man we got to talk about a couple different things but the main thing in today’s video we got to talk about this Dodge Charger now Stalantis hasn’t had the best luck with glass in the last couple of years we covered extensively the Dodge Challengers for 2023 and 22 model years just cracking in the same place on the windshield like almost like the body was flexing and and causing it to to crack right well the Charger EV Daytonas or Charger Daytona EVs however you want to say it are experiencing a different type of glass break and shouldn’t be happening roll the intro [Music] perfect [Music] [Music] all right so two things i’ve seen a lot of people in the comments saying that my videos have an Indian accent or something over the videos now and um and I don’t know if you know this or not yet goes by whatever your default settings is but YouTube just launched a new feature for my channel that allows you to hear any of my videos in like 80s something languages and they autodub it like it’s not my voice but they put it in like so many different languages and it definitely makes your channel grow uh in terms of views and reach so if that’s happening to you it’s either one a bug or two if you scroll down to the bottom uh below the video there’s a thing that says autodub or whatever and you might have that turned on and set to whatever language you’re hearing so definitely check that out all right now that we talk about that let’s talk about these Dodge Charger Daytonas that are having one of the weirdest friaking issues that I think I’ve ever seen so these Charger Daytonas are now breaking their glass and what I mean by that is I’m going to put a couple of images up here on the screen so you’ll be able to see here that this isn’t an isolated incident because I’m going to put more than one case here so customer gets out of the car closes the door you know like pushes the door closed and crack glass breaks now it doesn’t shatter it just cracks i can’t tell you how pissed off I would be if I purchased one of these cars not a lease but I purchased it you know and especially if I paid it anywhere near what they were supposed to be stickered at like you know almost 80 grand 70 grand whatever it was and the glass just breaks because I closed the door that would drive me batshit crazy but this is nothing new this is just another issue to the table but this is more of I almost want to say a build quality or material issue i’m almost wondering if did Carlos Tvarez change the supplier that does their automotive glass while he was the CEO and I say that because he did change a ton of suppliers because he was trying to cut costs on everything right from wiring harnesses to PL you know probably glass right i mean it’s not a coincidence that you have these windshields breaking and cracking in the exact same spot with you know the Dodge Challengers right and now you’re having this same issue with the Charger Daytona EV nah now at this point I’m wondering if it’s a a subpar glass or an issue with the glass supplier that Stalantis is using and I’m doing this video because I want um I want to know if you’ve had a similar issue now I I’ve reported I’m reporting on this cuz this is directly in the forums and this is the other thing people oh these guys just report all of the bad stuff in the forums uh yeah yeah yeah i feel like people should have all the information before they make a decision on buying one of these disasters i’m sorry you might not like that but that’s just facts and I know I’m just hating on the car i’m just a hater i’ve heard all of the all of the thing oh he’s just a hater he just hates on the car okay I’m a hater whatever you Whatever you say I don’t care it’s a build quality issue so I’m going to you know bring it to your attention but hopefully with all the new SRT stuff that’s coming down the line um they get this sorted out whether it’s the glass supplier or a build defect that’s causing the glass to hit something that’s causing it to crack or break they got to sort that out but uh let me know what you guys think in the comment section down below give the video a big thumbs up if you like what I do hit the subscribe button if you haven’t already and as always stay petty my friends
