maruti Suzuki e Vitara so brace yourself for what set to come but before we get to that we have a presentation from a very special someone I would like to now invite Mr toshihiro Suzuki representative for your heartfelt tribute to him today as we ell the evala we honor his legacy and S group’s commitment to India IA is Suzuki first Global St battery electric vehicle which has been long awaited in India and many part of the world Suzuki have been studying customer requirement for VV in detail all over the world particularly in our key business visions India Japan and Europe based on our study we aim to make vs attractive to customers through a three step strategy one develop a BV dedicated platform for optimized performance two evolve the light product for the target market based on the customer requirements three leverage our global economy scale of scale and concentrate manufacturing at the single location for the world for this purpose we have chosen India as a global manufacturing base due to its quality product and scale Merit and this is exactly the vision of honorable prime minister Mr Narendra Modi for make in India we plan to begin production of the evala in the coming few monthes at M Suzuki guja plant from here we will export to more than 100 countries of the world include Europe and Japan in India we will utilize all our resour is to build a VV ecosystem to offer our customers and experience with total peace of mind this will ensure that customers feel very comfortable and confident when making the B Choice ladies and gentlemen the eval fors this important day friends since our Inception we and our value chain Partners have dedicated ourselves to delivering Joy of Mobility to people in India and worldwide all through these years from manufacturing to recycling we have always aimed to leverage technology and Implement processes that minimize resource use and environmental impact now we are using this DNA to take us towards a carbon neutral World in terms of products we are already offering hybrids cngg power vehicles and are working on vehicles that can run on biofuels we are seeing an increasing preference for these green vehicles with the unveiling of the EV Vitara today we are taking another important step in the area of sustainable Mobility as Mr toan mentioned the EV Vitara is an SUV built on the all new platform called heart e exclusively designed for electric vehicles it comes with highly efficient battery pack options to deliver over 500 km range on the single charge we have equipped EV Vitara with several premium and advanced features such as level two AAS integrated display system and Next Generation Suzuki connect we have invested more than 2,100 CR rupees for manufacturing evara in India which includes a dedicated Eevee product line while we have packed excellence in the product our vision goes much beyond our ultimate goal is to create electric echos solutions for the customers we call it e for me e for me will help customers enjoy a new EV lifestyle that is comfortable present and aspirational for this we will adapt a three prong strategy the first we will offer smart home charges along with installation support ensuring convenience for our customers and second we will leverage our V Network to provide fast charging support to our customers in top 100 cities in the first phase and then expand further the idea is that Within These series every 5 to 10 kilm a customer finds a charging Point by maruti Suzuki to further ensure peace of mind for our EV customers we are preparing over 1,500 evv enabled service workshops covering over 1,000 cities these workshops will have specially trained Manpower and special equipment to provide all EV related support in including charging and the third we will introduce a dedicated mobile app to simplify EV charging journey of our customers using this our customers can locate nearby charging stations get information on realtime availability of slots charge their vehicle and make payment seamlessly additionally we will provide roadside assistance all over India including situations where battery runs out friends we are delighted and proud that Marti Suzuki India will be the exclusive manufacturer of this first strategic electric vehicle that EV V for the world this will enable us to further contribute towards making let me take you back in time 40 years to be precise when Marti Suzuki debut in India many of you might have recall this TVC this is where we came from even four decades ago also it was all about customers listening to them their needs and it was about creating the Indian Automotive Revolution and taking it to the remotest corner solving for Indian Automotive sectors now let me move little forward fast forward to 2015 we identified the evolving needs and aspirations of the evolving customers and so was born the Nexa while Nexa is an automotive brand but we Benchmark the brand experience
