There was also a Wolseley version called the Hornet, built to about the same standard. The only other way to get a Mini with a boot was a version in South Africa IIRC.

Only after posting did I realize the interior photo is of a LHD version. As far as I know, these did not come in LHD, I’m not seeing any more photos of an LHD Elf, and the place I found this photo doesn’t really have any context.
I’m guessing it’s a custom job, unless there was some *really* obscure exported version. If it is a conversion, it looks well done – it helps that the instrument cluster is in the center of the dash.
