The Internet sparked my curiousity

Alright everyone, I stumbled across this project that interested me so I thought I would bring it too you guys for your thoughts. I’m not looking for arguments and it’s definitely out of my price range I’m just curious to see what people think the value of this vehicle really is. Thank you for any thoughts

Very desirable collectable? Yes. Worth a ton of money in good shape? Yes.

This particular one? Unless it’s got a specific claim to fame (Richard Petty’s car or something like that), it would be worth about $120k AFTER restoration. But it looks like a good $60k+ to get it there.

There are a lot of “clones” out there. Be sure to run the VIN # and confirm it’s what they say it is.

It’s listed as all numbers matching which, especially for a Superbird ( only 2500 made) makes it quite valuable. I would say $200k tops for a completely restored 440 4 bbl. (That would take six figures) If it was a six bbl. $300K+ and a hemi you’re looking at 500k and up.

It’s also being sold by Tony Dagostino…a robber baron in the mopar world. I have dealt with him going back to the mid 1990’s.

I’m highly skeptical that this is a real Superbird. There are tons of these out there that are not authentic.

Matching number 440 Superbirds are selling for 200k plus. You’re in the 300k plus range of it’s a 6 pack.

At $119k and restoration, this car, assuming it’s a real, numbers matching Superbird, is going to be worth at a minimum what it would take to buy and restore it.

The price is might be a little steep, but not much.

I’m not an expert on these by any definition. But in the second pic, it looks like it has the standard B-body back window and not the aero glass.

Unless that’s Richard pettys or Joe Dirts I wouldn’t pay that for it. Too many clones and fakes out there.

Looks a bit pricey but when finished will be a great ride. Best of luck

I was like why do I have CNN notifications on my phone all of a sudden? Ya got me.

I saw one of these at a car show with 39k original miles and ALL original for $189k last year. I’d much rather get the clean one.
