Cars

My last post was fairly polarizing

It wasn’t just black and white! Thanks for the input y’all! I built my car with a blasphemi/two lane blacktop vibe. It’s a 55 chev 210 with a 632 cubic inch big block that makes 832 hp. I cut up the fenders and made the flip front end. I also made brake lines, fuel lines, a fuel tank, front frame and axle, built most of the engine tranny and rear end (ford 9 with a 35 spline detroit) and most of the paint and all of the wiring. If I grow up I plan on drag and driving it. Shorter term plans include a 14-71 supercharger and a roll cage! It’s the first car I’ve built! So far so good

Can’t even imagine what that sounds like to drive with your foot in it

I have a matchbox car of a 1957 Chevy and the hood opens just like this one

Beautiful Gasser. I’m jealous, we didn’t have NOS back then. What kind of HP is that putting out?

You really can’t go wrong with whatever choice of tire you decide on, as long as they’re big wide tires in the rear and skinny up front. A ’55 gasser can definitely pull off the whitewall look. Personally, I love seeing Mickey Thompson or Hoosier white letters on a drag car but it’ll look good either way.

I’m just starting a 63 merc meteor gasser with similar goals. Unibody cars are a blessing and a curse. An 8in to 9in swap and the solid front has quickly turned it into a home built chassis car. I just wanted a cool gasser daily.

Oops, guess we got a racecar

Love me a gasser, love me 55 Bel Air… and now I’m going to watch Han Solo race Kid Kane.

  11. Would you share info on the crank case ventilation system you have in play ???
