The Ford EcoSport might not be bad in a vacuum, but it was a mismatched car for the US market.

In terms of outright quality, driveability, and ease to work on it’s a toss up between a Mitsubishi Mirage, Nissan Versa, and a Kia Rio. I get that people want something cheap and fuel efficient, but there were always better options than those three in America. They probably all worked halfway decent in markets were you didn’t have much of a choice when it came to vehicles.

The base model nissan kicks. ITS SO FUCKING BAD. I had one it got stuck in an inch of mud and took it back to the dealership. It feels like a modern tuk tuk.
