Fun fact…. Steve and James Garner were both car guys and racers, they were also neighbors in an apartment building. Gardner hit it big with movie Grand Prix which forced McQueen to put his Le Mans project on hold. He was so upset about it that he would regularly piss on Gardner’s balcony outta spite
