The Volvo is an S60R and the Jaaaag is an S-type R to clarify the models. I have to go for the Volvo, it has AWD a 5 cylinder engine producing 300hp.

RS4, but in Avant form. Or, the E46 M3 (preferably in CSL form)
This screams older episodes of top gear to me for some reason.
No 9-5 Aero? Sad. Give me the C32.

Also the M3 is a coupe. The M3 E46 was never offered with a sedan.
E55 AMG with the supercharged V8, but out of these options the RS4.
If I was being sensible, the Volvo, especially if I could make it a V70R rather than an S60R.
However, I am not sensible, so the M3.
The bmw because I just got done watching the Transporter.
S60
E46 for sure! Had one as my first car (not an M3 though) and I absolutely loved it! Honorable mention to the S60R which I also owned at some point. Also loved it except the fact that it has a turning radius larger than that of an F350 and cannot do a U turn.
E46. No question for me.
Do I have to? Upkeep/maintenance/repairs are so much higher on luxe brands. But if I was forced to choose, I’d take the Volvo.
