To pick up the solar and the cake but we’re going to focus on this uh video today’s video on the solar V1 and V2 going to do the differences the you know comparison between the two models and see how they perform now the V1 it’s unlocked the V2 I’m not going to unlock
It I want to see how it comes stuck and then the next week the next video we’re going to unlock it and see what it does but uh let’s go pick them up and see you know how they perform today this is the V2 solar I ordered
This one with Street wheels so that should be better hopefully faster and uh this is how it gets delivered perfect and this is the bike shoot it’s supposed to be Street wheels and they send it with the off-road wheels so it is what it is another thing which is
Very important this model has a VIN number so you can actually take a DMV registered and uh you know get the plates get insurance I mean Drive pretty much anywhere so let’s open the thank you note and we got here the order and accessories we have this cool metal

Bike in the box you’ll get all those brackets this for the plates you have sticker you have grip all this adapters the cable bunch of zip ties so I get this in the kit we have reflectors the mirrors I’m not going to install them charger and 84 volt 10 amps nice quality

In New Jersey about 25 Mi North from New York City and the ground is still soft not completely dry after the rain but the wheels grip well and the bike feels so much more comfy and very good control the torque is really high lower and torque really stronger and better than
The V1 version and surprisingly this bike feels very Nimble and the control is great on the trails but the suspension of V2 is way better than V1 but still nothing to compare to Allin which is like Advanced versus ental level on V2 but still at the surprise
Level I’m surprised how good and how well it grips and travels and very good control in the bike pick up speed really fast the high knobs on this tires a great off-roading taken to the soft ground enough to give you a good grip performance levels V2 is above average
And comparable to the price level you get a light capable ebike that on this type of trails is doing pretty well I don’t do jumps or anything crazy but even on more difficult off-roading this bike handles I love the torque levels and I haven’t even unlocked it guys this
Little changes that solar did make this bik feel so much better this also has more cushion and makes a big difference acceleration 0 to 30 mph and 3.6 seconds super light deliver performance very similar to much larger bike like Saron Ultra which is 187 lb that is 50 lb less
And possibly only with this beautiful carbon frame the bike it’s so easy to ride it does not have a full off-road capabilities like the ultra but it’s more user friendly and it’s so much less intimidating and cheaper also converting to Street Wheels should make a very comfortable capable computer this
Off-road V2 it’s very playful and so much fun here are the both solar next to each other V1 V2 and you can see size difference the V2 much bigger bike you can see here height and also suspension we’re going to get uh closeups I didn’t install the street
Hit in the back I don’t need that because we’re going to be in the trails but you can see the height look how much taller is the V2 version and we have upgrades on the controller also suspension this is the shock here and this is a KK shock and also take a look
On the front and here’s the controller on the bottom no more fan doesn’t and here you can see there’s a fan here it’s still waterproof but the fan is running and the rest the frame it’s similar now I asked them last year and they actually
Follow that and uh thanks God I did that you see the carbon fiber is not painted so you have rear arm carbon fiber frame carbon fiber the seat now it’s much longer if you see and also you have this lad finish kind of way thinner here is
This carbon fiber fin it looks much nicer more padding much thicker suspension let’s see in the front here it has a solar log I don’t see any like branding but you can see it’s much taller so it’s a different suspension more travel and it’s a little bit
Thicker you have a a lock key to lock it and let’s look at the cockpit this is the cockpit on the V1 so you see what you have here and this is what you have here so V1 has minimal console look at this regen braking the V2 has the same
Console for the speed as the V1 but additional regen lever that is pretty handy here will save your brake pads on the left side we have a full motorcycle console with horn turning signals hazard lights with a blinker gauge and low high beam the V2 has preload and rebound
Adjustments on the suspension front and back where V1 only has preload and you can see in the sunlight it’s very easy to read the same screen here easy to read the grips plasticy entry level grips here rubberized motorcycle grips much better control and much better feel so upgraded and I think
The handlebar it’s a little bit thicker here similar mounts you have more to play here with the rebound and the preload so much better so these are the differences the battery is the same what the suspension is better yeah it is suspension is better and then here it’s
More plush yep but that’s stiff for me you can adjust have different for example when you break here look yeah More Travel yeah there’s more travel that one I feel is clunky but again different different uh uh all suspension would be different bik yeah but still the weight how light it
Is this is right I’m on 12th Avenue and I think this is the only spot where I can test the top speed lately the city is pretty congested everywhere let’s see how much I can get out of this V2 version accelerat to 35 M hour pretty fast but
Once I reach 40 it’s just slowing down and it’s more gradual once I hit 50 I feel like I need so much more room and there’s so much traffic and not gaining speed fast and it’s also windy today slowly creeps up higher and this off-road tires are feeling really
Slippery on this concrete so really not you know not comfortable to go on high speed here around all this cars yeah I don’t have enough room here just to go faster this is just not going to happen happened here I wait a couple of minutes
To clear up the road to get away from the traffic so I can properly test this and see how much I can you know I can reach top speed but it’s not happening the cars that keep piling up and it’s just cold not D Tires it just take too
Long and uh riding off road 0 to 40 with this torque it’s more than enough it’s more than you ever hit right so I’ll wait for a couple more weeks to get the street tires swap them go outside the city can see how much you can squeeze

All right guys so Mike is with you so we have two solar so h you rode you rode you rode right V1 to the trail yes and you rode V2 back so what’s your feedback so basically those two bikes the V1 and the V2 feel completely different to me
As as a regular Street motorcycle rider I can tell you uh this one felt light to me the V1 felt light and it is lighter so in all fairness it is it is lighter and and it it felt like I was not as much in control it’s a good bike and um
It’s got really good to torque but compared of course compared to the V2 completely different class of bikes here much more torque much more control I felt like even like the handlebars felt better um the grip is better it is better quality in every in every way
Frankly in every way I I’m sure it’s a different price point no the same price point same price point same price yeah this is just V1 version and just V2 version so it doesn’t make sense to me for the same price I would get this any
I would get the V2 anymore this was the first version I was done last year okay so that’s that it makes sense so as far as feedback this is a significant Improvement I would say it’s a significant Improvement the V2 is a significant improvement over the V1 and
I rode uh this on the trail um up Alpine and uh in in Jersey and it felt good but certainly there’s a big difference with with with V2 you should have tried this on on trail I should have yeah it has better suspension better suspension in
The back uh bigger Longer travel in the front so it is and it’s also the bike is ster you see right yes and definitely like you know I certainly felt that the the travel the travel in the front is definitely much much better so so this
This this kind of travel here this is so much better so much better than than the V1 so in uh if it’s if at the same price point I would definitely get this one yeah this upgrade this is the only version you can get that’s the only version you can get apparently yeah
Not great but great great bikes there’s nothing to be uh to be said about it I think for 5900 bucks there’s a lot here to get carbon fiber frame lighter they replace the controller put a biger controller uh they change little things here and there which makes the bike
Overall much better and you can see here look at the travel look how much travel you get dude look at this look how much travel that’s a lot of travel yeah and that one look how much less it is so let’s put this right here right and let’s let’s go next next to
The like almost like 20 30% more look at that yeah yeah so much more travel yeah and and you feel it riding and and again I’m no expert uh uh you know dirt biker I’m actually a street Rider and this was one of the few times that I went
Off-road and it felt you know comfortable uh I had a lot of fun with it but definitely the difference between the two bikes is very clear yeah what I like about the V2 package that is not big enough to attract attention and it can get away riding on the bridge avoid
Tolls ride on local roads pretty much it is convenient to ride anywhere but not small and has the power of bigger bikes and also way lighter and so easy to use and anyone can ride it what is impressive is that solar added all the upgrades and did not increase the price
And also kept the weight at the same level I would swap with the Allin suspension shock in the back if you go more extreme off-roading and if you’re looking for high performance and this bike handling will majorly improve after riding V1 V2 for a while now these bikes
Are so easy to handle for commuting between 30 to 45 Mi at the high speeds and medium off-roading this is perfectly set up light in my opinion I think it’s priced so well the included regen saves the brake pad and it is a good addition here it is incredibly how light and
Nimble this model is in the next video I’ll unlock it and add accessories and see how it performs I would like to see here the sun run differential and the rear arm I think it’ll increase the range and efficiency with power delivery make it more aggressive and more playful
