Jaguar is betting its entire future on a radical brand transformation, and the all-new Jaguar Type 01 electric car is leading that charge. Expected to hit showrooms with a starting price of around $130,000, this ultra-bold luxury EV looks like nothing else on the road. It features an extraordinarily long GT hood, standard 23-inch alloy wheels, signature LED lighting, dual charging ports, and a striking louvered rear end reminiscent of an ’80s supercar — complete with a solid rear decklid that completely eliminates the traditional back window.
Underneath its dramatic silhouette lies serious electric performance. The Jaguar Type 01 packs a tri-motor all-wheel-drive setup — one motor powering the front axle and two at the rear — delivering a mind-boggling 1,016 horsepower. Backed by four-wheel steering for enhanced maneuverability and an engineering focus on midrange passing thrust rather than mere off-the-line acceleration, this grand tourer promises relentless power and an estimated 0-60 mph sprint of 3.2 seconds.
