Light Car Company Rocket was created in the 1990s by Gordon Murray and Chris Craft as a lightweight alternative to heavy supercars. Its Formula 1-inspired construction combined a tubular steel frame with a Yamaha four-cylinder, while direct steering and double-wishbone suspension delivered agile handling. The minimalist tandem cockpit and exposed-wheel design contributed to its character, but only 55 examples were built by 1998.
