The boy was riding west on Hempstead Turnpike when he struck a 2026 GMC parked at 2174 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow around 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, according to Nassau County Police.
He suffered multiple lacerations and pain to his arms and knee, police said. He was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
The GMC driver stayed at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
