Stevens Jr. says, “It is a national security, it is an American jobs issue, and it is a free market issue. So, we have to draw a line in the sand now. I’m not a protectionist, but I’m a realist, and having those vehicles wholesale … would be very detrimental to our economy and to national security at this time.”
