Despite sharing its name with the Seal 6 EV launched last year, the Seal 6 DM-i features noticeable design differences from its electric counterpart.

The front end has a more streamlined look, for instance, while the rear taillight arrangement is also unique.

More significantly, the availability of the wagon variant, dubbed Touring, marks the first time that BYD is offering a station wagon model for Singapore.

The Touring will broaden BYD’s brand appeal to wagon lovers looking for a practical and spacious vehicle while enjoying the efficiencies of a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

The sedan is also available in the higher spec Premium trim, which adds on extra equipment such as a sunroof, ventilated front seats with memory function, and an 8-speaker sound system.

The Premium sedan model meanwhile has a more powerful output of 219bhp and 260Nm of torque.
