Tesla recalls 173 Cybertruck pickups due to risk of wheels falling off while driving
Elon Musk’s company, Tesla, has announced a service campaign for its discontinued low-cost four-wheel drive Cybertruck pickup. The issue concerns 173 vehicles with standard 18-inch wheels, reports Carscoops. . . .
The reason is the possibility of wheels coming off while driving. According to the manufacturer, the loads acting on uneven roads and during turns can cause cracks in the brake discs around the holes for the wheel studs. In this case, the entire stud can separate from the hub.
Tesla can’t keep track of what’s happening behind it. It can’t keep its wheels on. Does that sound like someone we know?
