Apprenticeship programs are an essential way to bring people into the skilled trades. Here’s a great story from Ford team member, Darriean Diaz at Kansas City Assembly Plant. After high school, she joined the plant’s apprenticeship program, finished 4 years of training and is now a full-time electrician. She’s even inspired her husband and brother to join the program. Thank you to Darriean for being an inspiration to others about the benefits of apprenticeship programs. We’re glad to have you as a first-generation Ford employee!
