Flying Flea C6Eicher Motors Ltd has launched the Flying Flea C6, marking Royal Enfield’s entry into electric motorcycles. Bookings and test rides will open on April 10 at its first store in Bengaluru, with deliveries scheduled to begin at the end of May 2026.
The motorcycle is priced at ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), with a battery-as-a-service option available at ₹1.99 lakh.
The Flying Flea C6 will be introduced through a phased rollout, starting with Bengaluru. The company said it will follow a city-by-city approach for expansion.
The motorcycle is powered by a 3.91 kWh battery and has a top speed of 115 km/h. It delivers over 400 Nm of wheel torque and weighs 124 kg. Charging options include rapid, standard and trickle modes using a wall outlet.
The company said the battery can be charged from 20 per cent to 80 per cent in just over 60 minutes.
B. Govindarajan, Managing Director, Eicher Motors Ltd and Chief Executive Officer, Royal Enfield, said, “We are excited to introduce the Flying Flea C6, marking our first step into electric motorcycling in our 125th year.”
He added that the company plans to expand its electric portfolio over time.
Technology and development
The motorcycle has been developed by a team of more than 200 engineers across India and the UK, supported by over 45 patent applications.
It features connected functions including remote monitoring, navigation and over-the-air updates. The system also supports rider aids such as traction control and lean-angle ABS.
The company said it will continue to build on its electric vehicle plans, with a pipeline of products under development.
