inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, explained that the motorcycles budgeted for the Heads of Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) in 2025 have not yet been officially distributed.
The Head of BGN made this statement in response to a video circulating on social media showing several motorcycles bearing the BGN logo, which has sparked various discourses among the public.
“The procurement of these motorcycles is indeed included in the 2025 budget. Their function is to support the operations of SPPG heads, but the motorcycles have not yet been distributed,” said Dadan on Tuesday (4/7/2026).
He explained that before distribution, the available vehicles must still go through the administrative process as state property (BMN) before they can be used. The motorcycle procurement process will begin in stages in December 2025.
Regarding information circulating on social media that the procurement volume will reach 70,000 units, Dadan emphasized that this news is false and a hoax.
“The information about 70,000 units is incorrect. The total realization of electric motorcycles is 21,801 units out of the 25,000 units ordered in 2025,” said Dadan.
He asked the public not to be easily influenced by unverified information and to understand that the procurement is part of the government’s efforts to ensure the smooth implementation of the MBG Program throughout Indonesia.
Content circulating on social media shows electric motorcycles with the BGN logo being wrapped in plastic. This information has not been confirmed, so the public is urged not to immediately share information that has not been clearly confirmed.
