STAMFORD, CT — A person on an e-bike was seriously hurt in a collision with a vehicle in Stamford on Wednesday night, according to police.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:40 p.m. when a 2010 Toyota Rav4, driven by a 46-year-old Stamford resident, was traveling northbound in the 900-block area of Washington Boulevard.
Police said the vehicle struck a person on an e-bike who was crossing eastbound over Washington Boulevard.
The operator of the e-bike, 46, of Stamford, suffered life-threatening injuries and is currently listed as being in critical condition at Stamford Hospital, police said. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
No charges have been filed at this time, police said, noting an investigation remains open.
