The 2026 Chery Tiggo 9 Super Hybrid has finally landed in New Zealand! With a massive 315 kW of power and a claimed 170 km of pure EV range, this AWD PHEV looks like the new king of the segment on paper. But is it actually “done right,” or does its one major flaw hold it back from being the perfect family SUV?
In this full review, I’m putting the Tiggo 9 through its paces on NZ roads to see if it can really achieve 1.4 L/100km and if the luxury interior lives up to the $66,990 price tag.
