Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Electric Rendered and the Power Could Be Insane

The upcoming electric Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT has been spotted in new spy photos, and it could become the most powerful Porsche crossover ever built. With over 1,156 horsepower already available in the Turbo version, the Turbo GT variant may push performance even further.

Porsche officially introduced the electric Cayenne last November, and the new model will be built alongside the gasoline powered version at the Volkswagen Group factory in Bratislava, Slovakia. Engineers are now preparing a coupe inspired version with a lower roofline, a more aggressive rear design, and a large rear wing that will likely define the future Turbo GT model.

Built on Porsche’s Premium Platform Electric architecture with an 800 volt system, the electric Cayenne promises incredible acceleration and advanced charging capabilities. In Turbo form the crossover already reaches 62 miles per hour in just 2.5 seconds, placing it in the same performance territory as many supercars. The upcoming Turbo GT version could raise the bar even higher.

If you enjoy Porsche performance cars and the future of electric SUVs, this new Cayenne could become one of the most exciting models the brand has ever produced.
