MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College and the Mohave College Foundation will host their first-ever Bike Rodeo on Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mohave College Neal Campus-Kingman, located at 1971 Jagerson Ave., Kingman, AZ 86409.

The free event is open to the community and designed as a fun, hands-on way for riders of all ages to build confidence and learn essential bicycle and e-bike safety skills.

The Bike Rodeo is being organized in collaboration with the Mohave College Foundation Alumni and Friends chapter in Kingman, which is helping sponsor the event and engage community partners. The focus will be on youth, families, and community engagement through interactive stations and guided activities that promote safe riding practices.

Activities include helmet and bike fit inspections, bicycle safety checks, handling and control skills, e-bike safety education, and road awareness resources. Participants are encouraged to bring their own bicycles and helmets.

This inaugural event is the first in what is hoped to be an ongoing series of Bike Rodeos aimed at expanding bike safety education and community outreach across Mohave County. Community members interested in supporting the Bike Rodeo may do so through the event donation link. Contributions will help provide additional helmets, safety supplies, and educational materials for this event and future rodeos.

Local businesses and organizations are also invited to participate by hosting activity stations, volunteering, or supporting the event through sponsorships or in-kind contributions. These partnerships are intended to strengthen community connections and promote health and safety throughout the region.
