Not an OG California resident, rear shows it came from "Bishay Motors" from Walpole, Massachusetts. An luxury business car dealership that sold Mercedes among other brands. They were apparently involved in multiple trademark infringement activities and got into court trouble with Mercedes themselves (https://law.justia.com/cases/massachusetts/supreme-court/1993/416-mass-1-3.html)
