How to use Driver Assistance Technology

Learn how to get the most out of your all-electric Ford Explorer & Capri with the help of intelligent driver assistance features*, from Adaptive Cruise Control and Pre-Collision Assist to Lane Centering and Active Park Assist.

Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Traffic Sign Recognition and Speed Limiter
Automatically keeps you within the speed limit and at the desired distance from the vehicle in front.

Pre-collision Assist
Warns you of potential collision risks and can brake or even bring your vehicle to a halt if necessary.

Blind Spot Information System
Detects and warns you of possible blind spot hazards.

Reverse Brake Assist
Applies brakes in the event of a hazard detected while reversing.

Rear-view Camera
Gives you a 360-degree view of the area around your vehicle for easier manoeuvring.

Lane Centering and Lane Change Assist
Monitors and adjusts if needed your position between road markings. Lane Change Assist can also automatically move lanes for you when instructed.

Driver Alert System
Reminds you to take a break if the system detects evidence of drowsiness.

Active Park Assist
Takes care of the parking for you, whether in a space or parallel.

All these features can be easily toggled on or off via the Driver Assistance menu on your SYNC™ Move screen.
