Welcome to Part 3 of our 140 Places World Tour! After Europe, the new Mercedes‑Benz S‑Class lands in South America – swapping boardrooms and boulevards for the streets, mountains and coastlines of Brazil and Uruguay.
In Brazil, Karl Shakur takes over as host and discovers Rio de Janeiro through local eyes: from Copacabana and Ipanema to Santa Teresa, Urca and Botafogo. Leaving Rio, our three S‑Classes climb one of Brazil’s highest roads on the way to São Paulo – a chance to experience how comfortable the new S-Class really is.
On their journey, our convoy experiences mesmerizing nature and falls in love with the local culture – from meeting fans of the local Mercedes-Benz club, to stumbling into a hidden garage and chatting with the local mechanics.
