On Thursday afternoon, deputies conducted an operation targeting illegal electric motorcycle (e-bike) activity in Santa Clarita.
“Deputies were on the lookout for riders operating illegally on streets, sidewalks, and trails, as well as other unsafe riding behaviors,” the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station reported.
During the operation, some riders were cited for unregistered vehicles and unlicensed operation as well as operating gas-powered motorcycles on streets and sidewalks.
With open concern from many Santa Clarita residents, the Sheriff’s station continues enforcement.
